to say she was excited would be an understatement, she was estatic, overjoyed, for what today would bring. finally making her way back to the place she once called home was one thing, but now, now she was going to finally see him again after all this time. admittedly, she had to ask around to see where he was. no one seemed to know exactly know where he would be, until cid finally told her he was sleeping and pointed her in the direction of his room.
knowing him, everyone else has probably forced him to sleep. he always did work hard, he deserved a rest. quietly, she slipped into his room, making sure to keep the door quiet as it shut behind her. her heart was beating so fast, if he wasn't fast asleep, she would have tackled him in a split second, but he probably needed this sleep. instead, she decided to take a seat next to his bed.
he sure had changed a bit... his hair had gotten longer and it seemed that perhaps he gotten even more toned. it seemed like he had gotten a new jacket, were those her wings on the back of it? hm... maybe he hadn't changed all that much.
a soft smile formed as she whispered,
