Leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) with a contrasting purple 🪻

Compared to other gecko species, the leopard gecko is unable to climb smooth vertical walls! This is due to the absence of lamellae on the toepads, which contain keratinaceous filaments (setae) that allow adhesion. The more you know!

This one felt super weird to do, I'm not used to such a strong purple. I'm not sure whether I like it but I'm glad I tried it 😄 I think I'm over halfway done with the rainbow, it's nice to work on something so cute and colourful. I hope you're enjoying it too!

Gecko Tailed Machop

Next up in our fun pokemon design challenge is MACHOP! The very first idea that popped into my head is that... Well.. He's really cute, like a gecko! And I realized machop's have little tails and figured, that's it. We gotta draw it. And I WAS RIGHT, A CUTIE ALERT! His unique color coat isn't the only thing great about this Machop. Thanks to his thicker tail he can lift a lot more weight than the average Machop. Only issue is he can't really walk around once weighted down, his tail does a lot of work supporting him.
