"Do you need any help?" Leo asked as he noticed Josie down one of the aisles with the book return cart. The library was pretty quiet today and Leo had been looking for little tasks to do here and there. He picked up one of the books looking at it and trying to verify whether or not it belonged on this aisle or somewhere else.

"Sorry to bother you" Leo prefaced as he approached the man at the table inside the coffee shop before he continued on "You didn't see a sketch book here when you sat down did you?"

"I didn't even know they could get that big" Leo mused about the vegetables that were competing for the top prize. "That one is the size of a baby" he pointed out one of the squashes. "How much do you think it weighs?"

Where: the woods

"do you think we'll ever see it again?" Leo asked as they walked, "I still can't believe i've seen something that cool in real life. I was trying to find books in the library that might give a clue to what it is, but there really wasn't anything. The closest was probably Chthulu, but from what I saw it didn't look very octopus-y."

”Is anyone sitting here?“ Leo asked as he approached one of the places to sit, holding a drink in one hand and what was to be his lunch in the other. The person was the only one at the table, so it was probably open, but who knew if she was saving it for a group that was still in line somewhere?

"What flavor did you get?" Leo finally asked the person sitting nearby on one of the other stools at the counter. He'd been looking down at the menu of drinks for what felt like hours, but was really probably only a few minutes. Maybe whatever the other person had gotten would sound good to him, and he could just get that.

While Magnolia's was a good place to get a lot of things, there were still plenty that the bodega didn't offer. This was why Leo has found himself at larger grocers in order to pick up some things to make for dinner during the week. He had gathered most everything into his basket and had one last section to stop in. The liquor. Some nice wines for when Daivi was over, made a good sipping scotch for those nights alone with a good book or another showing of Pride and Prejudice, oh that Mr. Darcy. When he got to the aisle he found he wasn't the only one there, "excuse me, Roulette" he said as October was standing in front of one of the bottles he needed to grab.

“If it isn’t my favorite customer” Leo smiled as he saw Shadow enter the bodega. “Guess who finally stayed late and reorganized the whole store?” It had been a project he’d been meaning to do for a while, wanting to better the flow of the place, as well as to help with space for some of the plants to liven up the place that Cade was helping him with.
