"Calm down with the geek speek, it's givin' me a fuckin' headache."
Please stay.
Your character’s been in a terrible accident and is in the ICU, send me “Please stay” for my muse’s reaction.
It'd been a long few weeks, getting to know the ins and outs of a new friend.
Fitz, being that friend.
The two had hit it off like a house on fire, with their IQ's matching almost identically and being interested in the same things. It'd been nice to find another friend that was like Tony, even if he was twenty years younger.
It was nice to have a friend, really.
Tony wasn't used to those. Friends.
Not like Fitz was.
Constantly bickering and fighting with each other over the smallest of things, especially when it came to the kitchen. Tony had a nice habit of setting that on fire, or almost setting it on fire. But even then, he'd try his best to cook for Fitz; so that they could eat and talk over the weapons Fitz had made, including the night night gun, debating over names before sticking with the night night gun, because even though it was a childish name, it was perfect for the gun.
So it was no wonder that when he got the call to say that Fitz was in the ICU after a bad accident, he'd dropped the phone and gotten in to the closest car and sped his way to the hospital, breaking at least four laws just getting there.
Once he'd gotten there, it was a long wait, and Tony had to lie--and say he was an immediate family, after all, they had called him first. Was he registered as an emergency contact? That made him wonder. But there wasn't time for that, he had make sure that Fitz was okay, and his head pressed against the glass; tears welling in his eyes at the sight of the young boy with tubes and wires coming out of nearly orifice.
He'd become more than attached to the kid, he saw him more as a son than as a friend, and he wanted to make sure that he was going to be okay.
After an hours long wait, Tony was finally allowed in, and the first thing he did was rush up to the young kid; and press a hand to his forehead, to make sure his temperature wasn't too high.
After that, he sat himself down and placed a hand atop Fitz's wired covered one, somewhat for comfort, somewhat for security, that his pulse was stable.
It was a long four hours, before he heard the small words.
“Please stay,”
Tears were in his eyes as he looked over to see Fitz barely awake and he nodded, gripping his hand gently, giving a gentle nod. He'd stay for as long as Fitz wanted him to.
“I promise I'll stay, kid.”
❝Hey, kid. Want something to eat?❞
