Orange Cats and Green Eyes
Ler: Shouta Aizawa
Lee: (fanon) Vigilante Izuku Midoriya
Word count: ~1000
Warnings: This is a tickle fic! There are tickles. That's it!
Shouta is seriously regretting befriending this vigilante, he swears. He already has enough stress from his students. He doesn't need another kid with zero self-preservation instincts. And yet, here he is.
He made a promise not to turn Deku in, and he doesn't plan on breaking it. Since then, the boy has slowly warmed up to him until he was attached like a leech to Shouta. And he really wouldn't mind that, but once you get past Deku's shy, guarded exterior, he starts acting less like a flighty deer and more like a cat. Specifically an orange one.
Shouta doesn't think that, within the past month or two, that he's gone a single meeting with the kid without an (attempted) jumpscare, a jolting poke to the side, or at the very least an annoyingly sassy comment. And Shouta swears that the last time he picked Deku up and carried him away from a fight, he tried to bite him. So, yeah, he thinks the 'orange cat' label is very fitting.
Shouta sits near the edge of a rooftop, peering down at the street below him. It's dark with the streetlights unable to reach him, but the clear sky allows the full moon to shine over him and cast a dim light over everything. He's more tired than usual since he didn't have the time to grab another cup of coffee before his patrol started. So, his mind is slightly fuzzy as he thinks about his vigilante cat friend.
So, lost in thought, it took him a split second too late to notice the presence behind him. He stiffens, but before he can even think to do anything, there are fingers digging into his ribs as a young, familiar voice sounds out behind him. "Boo!"
He doesn't yelp. However, the strangled sound that leaves him isn't much more dignified. He whips around, his scarf shooting out and wrapping around the offender. His eyes meet green ones, and he quickly recognizes Deku's freckled face, which is currently wearing a surprised expression.
Shouta sighs and puts his hand over his beating heart. "Holy crap, kid. Don't do that."
Deku's surprise quickly morphs into delight as he grins, giggling. "I actually did it! Finally!" He pumps his fists up and down, completely unconcerned about the fact that he's hanging in the air with Shouta's scarf around his ribcage.
"Yeah, yeah, you did good. You caught me off guard," Shouta sighs, quickly realizing it's hopeless to stop him.
"I knew I was getting better at stealth... so, can you let me down now?"
Shouta raises his eyebrow at the kid's audacity before slowly reeling him in with the capture weapon. "Oh, you think you can just get away with that?"
"Uhh, yeah?" Deku smiles nervously, kicking his legs softly and clearly fighting the urge to try to break free.
"I should've taught you better. I'll have to work on that. But no, there are consequences to your actions. Let's see how you like it." He pulls Deku in, making him sit next to him. Then, he wraps an arm around the boy and digs his fingers into his ribs.
"Ehehehe, wait, nohoho!" Deku squeaks, quickly dissolving into laughter. He fights back, squirming for a good two seconds before giving up and curling in on himself. This makes Shouta raise an eyebrow.
"You're giving up that easily? I thought the powerful vigilante Deku had some fight in him." There's a hint of teasing in his voice, and he's sure Deku hears it because his giggling increases, his shoes scraping against concrete as he kicks his legs back and forth. From what Shouta figured out, the boy doesn't have many friends other than his mom, if any. He always seems to appreciate physical touch, and though Shouta isn't very used to giving it, he does try his best to give Deku somewhere he feels comfortable.
And, judging by the bright laughter that lights up the rooftop better than the moon does, he's pretty sure he's doing a decent job of that. Shouta sighs, his lips twitching upwards involuntarily. "Keep it down a little. I'm still on patrol."
"Ihihi cahahan't, hahahaha! You're tihiHI-" He cuts himself off with a loud laugh as Shouta's fingers stray toward his upper ribs, then covers his mouth with his hands, trying to muffle himself. "NOhoho, I'm SOHOhorryy!"
"Oh, really? You're not gonna try to scare me again, then?" Shouta can't help but find himself with a soft smile on his face at the young vigilante's attempts to muffle himself.
Deku shakes his head. "Nooo, no, I won't, I, wohohon't!"
Shouta tisks. "I dunno if I believe that..."
"WHAhahat?! Why- ahahaha! Why nooot?" Deku whines through his laughter, gripping onto one of Shouta's wrists with a hand that isn't covering his mouth.
"Have you met yourself?" Shouta deadpans, which pulls another bout of giggling from the boy. The giggling is, however, interrupted by a squeaky yelp, followed quickly by frantic laughter as Shouta's hands slip under his arms.
Deku abandons his goal of muffling his laughter, hugging himself as he squirms in Shouta's arms. "NONONO, nohohohoo, ErAHASER!"
"Yes, Deku?" Shouta smirks, enjoying seeing his kid so openly happy more than he'd like to admit.
"AhahAHAHA, stOHOHOP!"
Shouta stops as asked, allowing Deku to slump against him, giggling softly as he catches his breath.
"Ehehehe, you're so meeean."
"You should know by now that I don't tolerate that kind of behavior. Take this as a lesson."
Deku scoffs lightheartedly. "Yeah, sure... but it was pretty cool, right? How I snuck up on you?"
Aizawa lets out an amused huff and ruffles Deku's hair. "I'll admit you're getting better. Even if I was lost in thought at the time."
Deku snickers and reaches up to fix his hair, propping himself up a bit better against Shouta. "What were you thinking about?"
Shouta glances over at Deku for a moment before he smiles softly and shrugs. "Cats."

The Aizawa tk headcanon post
99% ler 1% lee
As a ler:
-definitely the type of ler to absolutely wreck a lee all while keeping a straight face
-more so uses it as a way to punish his more rowdy students (do I even need to name them lol)
-or he uses it as a part of resistance training
-everyone learned that waking up Aizawa when he’s napping = getting absolutely wrecked.
As a lee:
-gets grumpy when tickled
-weak spot is his armpits
-claims to not be ticklish but a certain someone figured out that was a lie
-Present Mic has never let him forget about it

Grades
For the anon, This is only my second time writing so sorry in advance if its bad
-----------------------
Aizawa had noticed lately shoto seemed spaced out during class, his grades had began dropping a bit as well, which was concerning since shoto was one of the bests in the class.
After class Aizawa stopped him as everyone else left. "Has something been up lately? your grades have dropped."
Shoto avoided eye contact, his hands fidgeting. "No, nothings wrong, Just been a bit distracted lately is all."
He looked at the teen suspiciously, there had to be something wrong besides being 'Distracted'. "Don't lie to me, obviously something is wrong and its affecting your work."
Shoto met his teachers eyes for a second before looking away "really, its nothing." He went to quickly leave the room before aizawa caught his upper arm, grazing his ribcage, eliciting a squeak and a jerk from his student.
aizawas eyes focused on shotos face before speaking once more, "was that what I think it was?"
Silence filled the empty classroom until aizawa prodded shotos ribs, eliciting yet another jerk from him, Shoto noticed that look in his teachers eyes and immediately tried to dart but inevitably failed and got caught by aizawas capture scarf.
Shoto was soon pinned to the wall in the capture scarf, the normally bland boy was now trying to suppress his giggles in anticipation, speaking through his teeth "it REALLY, REALLY isn't what yohou thihink it is-!"
Aizawa spoke in his normal calm, monotone voice "You sure about that? you seem awfully on edge, are your grades weighing on you? let me help you cheer up."
That god awful monotone voice did shoto NO favors, but, before he could protest he felt rapid but gentle squeezing on his sides and digging in his ribs as he spoke through bubbly giggles "Wahahahihihit! NohOHohoho!" He tried to squirm away, or, pretended to atleast. "ThIhihihis iHIHIHisnt fahahaAAAHAHAHAIR-!" his giggles turned to full on cackling.
Aizawa smirked "Oh, Have i found a bad spot?" he went straight back to gently drilling into the boys lower ribs, the once quiet classroom now filled with uncontrollable cackles. "you seem happier now." he spoke teasingly.
Shoto squirmed and laughed "PLEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAASE! NAHAHAHAHAHAT THEHEHEHEHERE-!! NOHOHOHOHO-! WAHAHAHAHAIHIHIT!!" but, before he could even attempt to plead aizawa took a large, deep inhale before blowing a massive raspberry on the teens lower ribs, shaking his head so his stubble tickles him aswell. "FUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-!! REHEHED REHEHED!" the poor boy thought his lungs were going to give out, tears of mirth forming in his eyes, hair messy, cheeks flushed with a wide smile.
Hearing that, aizawa stopped and let him go from his scarf, rubbing the phantom tickles away from the teens ribs, he spoke calmly as if he didn't tickle him senseless. "Feelin' better kid?" Shoto had nothing to say, just giving a small nod, the smile not fading as he panted. aizawa smiled. "Good, well, you best get going, present mic likely isn't happy I kept you so long. clean up and get going."
Shoto did just that, fixing his clothes, hair and wiping the tear marks and quickly left for the next class, the smile didn't leave his face for the rest of that day.

Tickletober 2024 - Day 21: Singing (Aizawa and Shinso)
Aizawa x Reader - What Makes You Human
A/N: This was requested by an anonymous and asked for a father/daughter relationship so this IS NOT a ship
Summary: Y/N admitted to her father that she wanted to be serious just like the other heroes. Aizawa was about to tell her something different
Ler: Aizawa
Lee: Reader
Words: 2,440
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/N and Aizawa, her father, were alone in a wooded area to the far side in UA campus. He wanted to teach her how to avoid to be caught be villains.
Aizawa glanced at her. “Alright, pay attention, kiddo. You’re gonna want to be extra prepared for this lesson.” he said in a stern voice, yet a hint of care.
Y/N nodded. “Okay.”
“Good.” he said as he slowly moved towards the trees while looking over his shoulder every so often. “I want to see how you do while being chased. You up for it?”
She stared at him with confusion. “Huh?”
“It’s a drill.” he said, stopping to face her fully and crossing his arms. “I’m gonna hide in these trees and you’re gonna have to find me. Once you found me, I’m gonna start chasing you and you have to avoid getting caught. Got it?”
“Wait, wait, we’re going to play hide and seek but you’re going to chase me when I find you?”
“Don’t think of it as just regular hide and seek,” he said with a huff as he stepped closer and put his hands on her shoulders. “Think of it as training. I need to make sure you’re prepared when you do come across a villain. You never know what a villain will do to you. Okay?”
She sighed a bit. “I guess.”
“Good girl.” he said, ruffling her hair before shoving his hands into his pockets and walking back to the trees. “Now, count to ten for me.”
“But wait, what’s gonna happen if you catch me?” she asked a bit nervously.
“You’re gonna get tickled.” Aizawa said bluntly, a smirk slowly formed on his face.
“Crap.” she groaned under her breath as she turned around towards a tree to get ready to count.
“What was that?” he asked back, peering through some nearby bushes with a smirk, obviously heard her.
“Nothing!” she said, trying to hide her flustered expression.
“I think I heard ‘crap’ from you.” he chuckled lowly and stepped out of the bushes. “Don’t tell me you’re scared to get tickled, kiddo.”
“You’re ruthless when it comes to you tickling me!”
He huffed out a laugh. “I thought you liked getting tickled,” he replied and began to slowly walk towards her. “What’s changed?”
“Well, uh, maybe I… grew up from that.” she said as she rubbed her arm.
“Oh, really now?” he mused, now within a couple feet of her. “So I guess you’re saying you’re too mature for getting tickled, huh?”
“I… guess so? I mean, come on. I’m gonna be a hero one day and I can’t be involved with that kind of stuff anymore.” she said.
Aizawa chuckled again and started to slowly circling around her as if he’s inspecting her. “And is that because big heroes like All Might don’t get tickled? They’re mature, strong, and grown-up. And grown-ups don’t get tickled. Is that what you think?”
“If that’s how you want to describe it then yes that’s what I think.”
He stopped circling to stand behind her. “And you also think big, strong, grown-up heroes need to act like robots, don’t they? They’re not allowed to let things like feelings, and emotions, and tickles stop them from saving people, right?”
“I… guess so?”
He suddenly reached his hands out, his nimble and lithe fingers gently grasping at her sides. “Which means… they need to hold back their laughs… no matter how badly they wanna let the tickles.”
She tensed up when she felt his hands and pressed her lips together.
Aizawa’s fingers gently, yet deliberately, began to squeezing her sides, applying just enough pressure to get her laughing. “And it also means… they gotta stay stoic and strong, even if they’re secretly losing their minds on the inside.”
Y/N nodded frantically and kept trying to hold in her laughter.
He smirked and kept squeezing her sides rapidly. “But I wonder how strong that restraint is. Can you really hold in your laughter if you’re a big, strong, mature hero?”
She bit her lip as she started squirming a bit.
“Hmm… I’m not quite sure about that.” he said with false concern. “I think you’re losing your composure a bit.”
She clamped her mouth with her hand to keep her giggles in.
He chuckled lowly as he started to spider his fingers up and down her sides and used his other hand to grab her wrist to slowly pry it away from her mouth. “No, no, none of that. Big, mature heroes can’t cover their mouths like that. They have a reputation to uphold, after all.” he said, his fingers wiggled into a particularly more sensitive spot.
She lets out a short chuckle.
He continued to dance his fingers against that area, smirking victoriously as he watched her composure start to break. “Oh, what’s that? You don’t seem like you’re holding it in anymore. Are you losing your resolve already, kiddo?”
She grabbed both of his wrists to try to push them away as she was slowly losing.
He quickly pried her fingers from his wrists and pinned her arms to where they can’t move. “What happened to keeping your composure? Big, mature heroes can’t give in to this.” he said in a mocking tone, his hands now fully digging her sides, causing her to finally break.
“Hahahahahahahahahahaha, dahahahahahad!” she giggled loudly and squirmed more.
He chuckled, now fully pinning her against his chest as he continued to dig into her sides relentlessly. “What’s the matter, kiddo? Losing your composure? You’re supposed to be a mature hero, after all. You can’t just give up to a few tickles. What if All Might sees this? What will he think when he finds out you can be reduced to a giggling mess?”
“Ahahahahahahahahaha, okay, okay! Stohohohohop!”
Aizawa chuckled again, his hands now gently scratching up and down her sides. “Oh, really? You sure you’re had enough?” Maybe a few more tickles will change your mind.”
“Nohohohohoho!”
He smirked and gripped her waist, holding her captive as he kept raking at all of the sensitive areas around her sides. “Come on, I think you still have a few more laughs left in you. Just give in and let it all out.”
She felt her knees starting to give out and fell to the ground. “Ehehehehehehehe!”
He chuckled as she fell onto the ground and followed her. “What’s the matter? You gonna give up and submit to the tickles? You’re still supposed to be strong and mature hero, remember?” he said as he sat on her legs and moved his hands to dig his fingertips into her stomach.
She wiggled side to side and tried to push his hands away. “Dahahahahahahad, stohohohohohop!”
He smirked and grabbed her wrists to pin them to the ground above her head. He continued to dig into her stomach. “Oh no, no, no, no, you can’t push the Tickle Monster away. I’m not gonna stop until you lose all that built up tension and let out all your ticklish giggles. Don’t you know big strong heroes aren’t supposed to give in to simple tickles?”
She kept squirming and laughed more. “Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!”
He laughed along with her, thoroughly enjoying the sound of her loud and unstoppable giggles. “Aww, is someone feeling ticklish? Is a big, mature, and strong hero really just a ticklish little girl in the end?” he teased, his hands now raking over her stomach and lower ribs.
She squealed loudly and wiggled side to side. “Ahahahahahahahahaha, okay stohohohohop!”
“Is that your way of admitting that you can’t handle a few simple tickles?” he teased again, skittering his fingers around her belly button.
She arched her back and leaned her head back. “Okay, I was wrohohohohohong! Wrong, wrong, wrohohohohong!”
He laughed again, loving the sound of her squeaky little giggles. “Oh, you were wrong, huh? So you admit that a big, mature hero can be taken out with some simple tickling? Is that what you’re saying?” he asked with a smirk.
“Dahahahahahad, plehehehease stohohohohop!”
“But why should I stop? I’m just doing my job as the Tickle Monster. I need to make sure strong, mature heroes can’t be taken out by the simplest of things.” Aizawa mused, his blunt nails circled the sensitive areas around her ribcage. “Maybe a few extra tickles on these sensitive spots will bring out a few more of those cute little giggles.”
“Nohohohohohoho!”
“Uh oh, it seems like I’ve found a really squirmy spot. Guess I’ll have to work on this sensitive area a bit more.” he chuckled, scribbling his fingers faster. “Maybe you should have thought about giving up a little earlier. Now I know all your ticklish spots.”
“Dahahahahahahad, I can’t tahahahake it!”
He chuckled as he continued to ruthlessly scratch away at her ribs before trailing up to her armpit. “Aww, what’s the matter? You’re squirming so much. Have you learned your lesson about trying to hold in your ticklish giggles yet?”
He thought for a moment, his fingers slowly coming to a stop. “Hmm… I’ll stop but only if you agree to one simple thing.” he said with a smirk.
“Whahahahat?”
“You have to agree that big, strong, mature heroes can be reduced to a giggling mess by a few simple tickles. Say it.” Aizawa demanded, his fingers lightly fluttered over the middle of her armpit, just to prove that he meant business.
“Ehehehehehe, okay, okay. Big, strong, mature heroes can be reduced to a giggling mess by a few simple tickles.”
He stopped again and smiled. “Good. Now say that you, yourself, can be reduced to a giggling mess with a few simple tickles.” he said, his hand moved to her other armpit and gently tapped his fingers to tease her.
“Ehehehehehe! I can be reduced to a giggling mess with a few simple tickles!”
He chuckled and finally moved his hand away from her armpit, leaving her breathing heavily and tired from the tickling. “That’s what I like to hear.” he said as he let go of her arms and got off her legs to sit next to her. “See? That wasn’t so hard now, was it? Just needed a little tickle persuasion to get that admission out of you.”
After a moment of calming down from the overwhelming tickling, Y/N sighed and stared at the sky. She was feeling embarrassed, not from what he said to her.
He chuckled again, seeing her tired and defeated expression. “What’s the matter, kiddo? You look a little bit worn out. Did that tickle torture wear out your body a bit?” he teased.
She sighed and thought what she wanted to say. “Dad, all my life I looked up to you, to the heroes I watched on TV growing up and they look so serious all the time, and… I just figured that’s how I should be if I’m training to be a hero.”
He was surprised to hear her say something so serious, but he listened intently nonetheless. “Hmm… so you think that in order to be a hero, you need to act serious and have some kind of tough exterior?” he asked.
“Well… yeah. I just figured that I would stop getting involved with kid stuff especially tickling.”
He thought for a moment, a bit surprised at how mature of a mindset she had. “I see… but what’s the problem with letting yourself indulge in a little bit of kid stuff? Even heroes need a break every now and then. There’s nothing wrong with letting your guard down every once in a while.”
“I guess so.” she said softly.
He smiled warmly and ran his fingers gently through her hair. “You know, you don’t have to act serious all the time. It’s okay to be silly sometimes, to let out a few giggles and laughs. It doesn’t make you any less of a hero. It just means you’re human.”
“Is that how you feel?” she asked softly.
Aizawa chuckled. “Of course. Do you think the other heroes are really as serious and mature as they appear on TV? No. Some of them are even goofier than most civilians. Heroes are humans, first and foremost. They have their moments and vulnerability, which includes bouts of laughter and even tears. There’s nothing wrong with showing a little weakness every now and then. That’s what makes you human.”
“What about that pro hero, Endeavor? He’s serious all the time.”
He huffed out a laugh. “Oh yeah, that old stick in the mud. Yeah, he can be a very serious character, even more so than me, surprisingly. But even he has his moments when he’s a bit soft spoken and can laugh a little. He’s just so serious that you don’t see it very often.”
“Oh,” she responded softly.
He chuckled, still running his fingers gently through her hair. “See, even heroes like Endeavor, as serious as they are, are still human. They have their moments of weakness and vulnerability, just like everyone else. Just like you. So it’s okay to let your guard down every now and then, kiddo. Don’t feel like you have to be serious and mature all the time in order to be a hero. You can be yourself.”
Y/N couldn’t help but smile softly, understanding and accepting his words of advice. “Thanks, dad.”
He smiled down at her. “Of course, kiddo. As your father, it’s my job to make sure you understand these things. Just because you’re training to be a hero, doesn’t mean you have to act like an adult all the time. Heroes are still human underneath it all. You shouldn’t feel guilty about laughing and being silly every now and then. After all, you’re just a kid. You’re supposed to be a little silly.”
She nodded and smiled again. “Okay, dad.”
He smiled back and ruffled her hair playfully. “Good. Now, let’s see if we can get you laughing again. After all, I haven’t exhausted all your ticklish spots yet.” he teased while slowly smirking.
“Dad, no!” she squeaked and began to curl up to protect herself.
He chuckled at her response and slowly moved his wiggling fingers on her sides again. “Oh, really? You don’t want another round of tickle torture now that you’re a little more relaxed and vulnerable? I think I can hear those adorable little giggles already.”
“Dahahahahahahahad, plehehehehease!”
He chuckled again and began to dig into her sides with his fingers. “Oh, c’mon! You’ve already admitted that big, mature heroes are just as ticklish as everyone else. There’s no more reason to hold back those adorable giggles now. Let them out for the Tickle Monster again.”
Summary: Toshinori is riding high from last night's... activities. He's feeling great-so he actually does everything his doctors have been begging him to do.
It doesn't go unnoticed, and he gets asked on another playdate.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Toshinori had woken the next morning in a better mood than he could remember for a long time. He had sat up and stretched and there hadn’t been nearly as many crackles and pops as was his normal. He threw back the covers and padded into his bathroom, wiping at his eyes. Looking at himself in the mirror, he had to do a double-take. His eyebags were noticeably smaller, his eyes brighter.
He shuffled back into his bedroom and stared at the clock on his nightstand. 05:00 flashed back at him. Why did he feel so good today? His mouth pulled into a slight frown as he returned to the bathroom. Shaking his head, he turned on his shower. Best not to dwell on it…
Shortly, he was moving with far more ease than he could remember through his kitchen. He’d taken his mountain of pills without so much as a grumble and was now debating making himself an actual breakfast. As the kettle for his morning tea boiled, he had decided. He was going to go all in, today. He made a couple rolled sweet eggs and a serving of miso soup. He even whipped up a small bento, and grabbed a couple protein shakes.
He sat at the counter and ate, his mind drifting to the events of last night. Gentle fingers running through his hair. Fingers lightly trailing from his ears, to his neck. Along his stomach and hips, up his right side. He shivered, and felt goosebumps spread over his skin. And he had laughed—brief as it was. If there was a next time… would they pull more from him, or back off again?
He shook the thoughts from his head, focusing on the good. The fun. Because it had been. The most fun he could remember having in a long time—though he supposed that wasn’t saying much since he didn’t have much time for that before his injury, and after… he felt like he didn’t deserve it.
His good mood carried him through the gates of UA, a lingering pep in his step as he made his way to the teachers’ lounge at 7:15. He settled into his seat and flicked his computer on, humming a quiet tune to himself. He was inputting grades from Class 1-A’s last practical exam. Was the system always this easy to use?
Distantly, he could hear boots shuffling down the hall outside the room, but he didn’t look up—he was on a roll. The door to the lounge slammed open. “Good mo-o-o-o-orning!” Hizashi sang into the room.
His head snapped up, his fingers stilled over the keyboard as a genuine smile slipped onto his face. He turned to look over his shoulder. Hizashi was aiming his signature finger guns at him, a huge grin stretched across his face. “Good morning, Hizashi!” His gaze shifted over Hizashi’s shoulder, taking in Aizawa. He looked grumpy, as usual, but… softer? “Good morning, Shouta,” he said quietly.
“Mm…” is all he said as he slouched his way toward the coffee machine.
“Forgive him, he hasn’t had any coffee yet… our machine malfunctioned,” Hizashi offered, coming up behind Toshinori and gently carding his fingers through his hair.
Toshinori couldn’t stop his eyes from fluttering at the younger man’s touch. Before he could open his mouth in any kind of response, Shouta was speaking.
“I think you mean you broke it,” Shouta grumbled, eliciting a sheepish chuckle from Hizashi. “Who made coffee?”
“Oh!” Toshinori jumped, pulling away from Hizashi’s fingers slightly as he turned to look at Shouta. “I did. I bought it to try, but it’s a bit strong for me,” Toshinori supplied, a sheepish grin flashing across his face briefly as he reached up to rub the back of his neck. “I thought you might like it.”
He watched as Shouta poured some into his cat mug and brought it up to his face, inhaling deeply, and hummed in appreciation—Toshinori hoped—before he took a sip. Shouta’s eyes widened, just for a moment before they slid closed and he melted against the counter.
“Oh, he definitely likes it,” Hizashi said with a laugh, settling into his desk to the left of Toshinori. He slipped on his headphones and started rifling through his bag. It looked, to Toshinori, that he had some last minute grading to finish, so he wouldn’t bother him.
Toshinori chuckled, “I’m glad you like it.” He turned back to his computer, wanting to finish putting in the last few grades, and notes. A few moments later he heard ceramic meeting granite and the sound of pouring liquid.
“Thanks, for the coffee,” Shouta said, passing by on his way to his desk, letting the fingers of his free hand tease along the back of Toshinori’s neck, a small smirk gracing his mouth.
Toshinori couldn’t help the shiver that ran down his spine, or the sharp shrug of his shoulders, or the giggle that escaped before he could slap a hand over his mouth. He looked wide-eyed at Shouta, a blush finding his cheeks.
Shouta took his seat, to the right of Toshinori, his eyebrows raised in question as he sipped from his coffee mug, but Toshinori could see the flicker of amusement in the man’s dark eyes. He set his mug down, giving Toshinori a slow once-over that made him squirm in his seat. “You look better today, less…” Shouta trailed off, his eyes widening briefly before he cleared his throat.
Toshinori decided to help him out, a smile sliding across his face as he gently nudged Shouta’s shoulder. “Less peakèd?”
“Uh, yeah… sorry,” Shouta mumbled, biting at the inside of his cheek for a moment before deciding it was better to hide behind his coffee mug, which he was quickly downing. He stood, Toshinori assumed he was getting a third cup, already. He was going to be wired.
“Don’t apologize. I guess this is just what I look like when I do everything I'm supposed to…” Toshinori grinned sheepishly at Shouta as he passed.
Shouta stopped short right behind him, though. Fingers ran through his hair and then he felt Shouta’s breath on his neck, “Good boy.” It was said so quietly, Toshinori thought he may have imagined it because as fast as it left Shouta’s lips, he was halfway to the coffee pot. He knew his whole face was flushed, so he studiously faced his computer and nowhere else.
A few minutes later, Shouta was settling at his desk again. Out of the corner of his eye, Toshinori could see a satisfied grin settling over his face. Toshinori narrowed his eyes—but if Shouta noticed, he didn’t let on—not that there was any heat behind the look anyway.
“Toshinori, are you feeling alright?” Hizashi asked quietly, gently laying a hand on his forearm, his other hand pulling his headphones down around his neck.
Toshinori flinched, his gaze snapping to Hizashi, willing his blush to disappear now. “F-Fine!” he said—shit, his voice was way too high. He heard Shouta chuckle next to him, before trying to cover it with a cough.
Hizashi leaned around Toshinori to look at Shouta, “What did you do to Toshinori?”
“I simply gave him a little praise for taking proper care of himself,” Shouta huffed.
“That’s great, Toshinori!” Hizashi beamed at him, turning back to his desk to gather his papers. “Oh! You brought lunch today?” He reached out to the corner of Toshinori’s desk, his fingertips brushing over a light blue cloth with white bunnies on it.
“Oh—yeah,” he smiled sheepishly, lightly scratching at his cheek. “And a couple shakes,” he volunteered, but he didn’t really know why—until he heard Shouta give a quiet, pleased hum. God, were these men going to be the death of him?
“That’s great! Really glad to see you taking care of yourself, big guy!” Hizashi beamed, shooting a finger gun at him. “Shou, we should get to class…”
Toshinori chuckled as he watched Hizashi pull Shouta from his seat and shove him toward the door. He turned back to his computer, a gentle smile staining his lips.
Bzzt! Bzzt!
His phone vibrated on his desk. He eyed it, the notification blinking up at him:
MessagesYamada, Aizawa: Do you want…
Toshinori quickly finished entering the last few grades before he snatched his phone from the desk. He thumbed the screen, biting his lip as he stared at the notification: Do you want…
He exhaled slowly, tapping the notification. His Messages app opened, displaying his group chat with Hizashi and Shouta. I should update their names…
Aizawa:Do you want to pick up our playdate where we left off last night? Are you free tomorrow afternoon?
Yamada: 😈🪶
Aizawa:‘Zashi, calm down…
Toshinori stared at the messages, a nervous grin tugging at his lips. He was nervous, but oh, so curious. He was going to have to do everything he usually refused. He really wanted this to work. He wasn't really sure why, but he did.
Me:I would really like that, yes.
He sent a grinning All Might sticker right after it and fired off another text.
Me:
Um, my place again, or?
Bubbles appeared almost immediately, someone was responding. He chewed his lip as he waited. It wasn't long at all, and he was looking at two new texts.
Yamada:Yours. Your bed is bigger Uh, probably So you'll be more exposed
Aizawa:Phrasing, 'Zashi. He meant to say: we would like it if you could stretch out a bit more this time. Your bed would be best for that - and yes, it is likely bigger than ours
Stretched out. More exposed. A shiver ran up his spine; he swallowed. He sent off a text in the affirmative, and a suggested time, and before he could think better of it, a blushing All Might hiding his face. He closed his phone and stuffed it in his pocket.
The morning flew by; he drank his shake mid-morning. It was monotonous, but he was determined. Nothing was going to get in the way of this. Lunch was approaching. He wasn’t really hungry, but he reached for his bento anyway.
Bzzt! Bzzt!
He pulled the wrapped lunch closer as he fished his phone out of his pocket, unlocking the screen.
Hizashi:Hey, big guy! Wanna meet us on the roof for lunch?
Me:I’ll be there!
Toshinori didn’t think he’d ever been to the roof, not back when he was a student and certainly not as a faculty member. Until today. He climbed the staircase he usually paid no mind, and pushed his way onto the roof. He didn’t see anyone at first, but then he heard scuffling and turned the corner and saw the two younger heroes leaning against the wall of the entrance.
Shouta was half tucked into his sleeping bag, a nutrient jelly pouch pinched between his teeth. His mouth was stretched in a crooked grin, his eyes crinkled at the corners as quiet laughter poured around the pouch he was, apparently, refusing to release. His arms were tucked to his sides defensively but he didn’t seem to be putting up much of a fight against Hizashi’s wandering fingers.
“I’ve told you countless times, that’s not a real meal—I even made you lunch!” Hizashi chastised, his fingers darting up Shouta’s haphazardly protected sides.
“‘Oh!”
The two froze, slowly looking toward him before relaxing. A bright, welcoming smile broke out across Hizashi's face. Shouta caught his eye, unashamed of the smile that was contorting his features in a way Toshinori had never seen as he pulled himself into a more proper seated position.
"Hi," Toshinori said quietly, moving to join them, but he wasn't sure where to sit so he stood there, floundering, until he was pulled down between them. He couldn't help the excitement that ran up his spine. This was very reminiscent of last night.
They sat shoulder to shoulder, eating in relative silence for a few minutes. "So, um..." he started, but wasn't sure what he wanted to say, exactly. After a moment, he decided to plow through, "How many, uh, spots are left to... try?"
"Hmm... I’m not entirely sure how to quantify that," Hizashi offered.
"Can’t give a real number either, but, technically speaking—over half of you is still unexplored…" Shouta said lazily, a finger teasing along the top of Toshinori's hip.
He flinched, squirming as his lips twitched briefly into a smile.
And then he felt a few fingers slipping up his right side, so unbearably gentle. He arched slightly, his arm tucking into his side protectively.
The rest of their lunch period passed in much the same slow, teasiest of touches. "Just to keep you on your toes," Hizashi had giggled.
Toshinori had woken much the same as the previous morning—feeling better than he had in years. Not that he would be telling his doctors that. He slid out of bed and stretched and then went to make himself breakfast and take all of his pills—for the second day in a row. After, he spared a quick look at the clock on the wall, he saw it was just after 11:30. Two and a half hours—Shouta and Hizashi would be here.
He suddenly felt restless. Maybe a run would help—well, more of a jog. He headed back to his bedroom to get ready to go out. Oh. Right, the bed…. They were going to be in here today. He made quick work of changing the sheets and then got changed into his fitted All Might-themed tracksuit and out the door he went.
He was immediately lost in his head, aware enough to not crash into anyone or anything—but all he could really think about was how, in a few hours, he was going to be laying in his bed. So he could be stretched out and more exposed for Shouta and Hizashi to… explore his body with gentle touches for spots that would make him laugh, and squirm, and probably a whole host of other embarrassing things. He didn’t think the cool breeze did anything to combat the heat suddenly rising to his face.
Closing the door to his apartment, he let out a sigh. He felt energized, which he supposed was good. He was probably going to need it. Hizashi’s fingers digging in between his ribs, vibrating. Shouta’s fingers playing at his hip. The first sign of real laughter that had been forced from him as he frantically tried to get away. Yeah, he was definitely going to need it…
He started the shower and then rifled through his dresser once more for some lounge clothes that fit properly, placing them on the edge of his bed. Feeling a bit mischievous, he grabbed his phone and decided to ask a question.
Me:If I don't have another shirt that fits 'properly', am I going to be in trouble?
He closed the chat and went to take his shower, and for twenty long minutes, he battled his nerves. Why did I goad them like that? He was certain he had chewed his lower lip raw by the time he was padding back into his room and grabbing his phone.
MessagesShouta, Hizashi: 2 new messages...
He sucked in a breath and slowly released it. Why did I do that...? Opening the notification, his heart was soaring and plummeting again. They were really going to be the death of him.
Shouta:Is that what you want, Toshinori?
He sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the question, a pink tinge on his cheeks. Do I?
Hizashi:Are you trying to scare him, Shou?!
Me:You know, maybe forget that I asked... 😳
Nerves were dancing up his spine already and they weren't even here yet. Why had he done that to himself? Scrubbing a hand over his face, he tossed his phone aside and pulled on his clothes. Shorts, just like last time, and... Oh, this is a tank top... He hurried back to his dresser and rifled through it once more. He had to have something.
He didn't. He blew out an exasperated puff of air, his bangs fluttering. Sighing, he put the tank top on. It just barely brushed the top of his shorts. He was going to be so screwed, he could just feel it. He scrubbed his hair with the towel once more before tossing it in his hamper, then he quickly put on a pair of socks. That helped. He glanced at the clock on his nightstand: 01:45.
Me:I found something, so, um, please be nice to me?
He sent off the cutest All Might sticker he could find, and then,
Me:And I'm definitely going to go shopping after this, immediately!
He was rambling, he knew. They had to know he was nervous. Maybe even more so than two days ago. That was okay, right? He flopped back against his comforter, willing his heart to calm down. Breathe in. Out. In. Out.
All too soon, there was a knock at the door. Oh, he'd really worked himself up. For a moment, he didn't move. But he couldn't keep them waiting. "C-Coming!" He let out a calming breath and got up, crossing his apartment in a few frantic, long strides. He pulled the door open; his lower lip sucked between his teeth. "Hi..."
"Are you okay?" Hizashi asked immediately, his bright smile taking on a worried edge when Toshinori didn't immediately let them in. Shouta stood a half step behind, hoisting the bag he carried a little higher on his shoulder, his eyebrow cocked but his face a little softer than usual.
"Yes, yes... I just worked myself up, unnecessarily," he said, a small sheepish thing contorting his lips as he reached up to rub the back of his neck, finally stepping back and opening the door wider to let them in.
He was stiff, he knew. He could feel their eyes on him as they stepped inside. Hizashi hummed, giving him an easy smile as he toed off his boots. He did not miss the way Shouta’s eyes slid over him slowly as he closed the door behind them. A shiver ran down his spine, his arms instinctively pressing tighter to his sides. Bare skin had been so much worse—what was I thinking?
“Do you need a minute?” Shouta asked once they had entered the bedroom, crowded around the foot of Toshinori’s massive bed. Shouta dropped his bag next to Toshinori’s dresser.
“M-Maybe,” Toshinori mumbled, chewing the inside of his cheek as he perched on the edge of his bed.
The bed dipped on either side of him, knees angled toward him. “Are you nervous because of our earlier exchange?” Shouta asked quietly.
“I don’t know what I was thinking, doing that…” Toshinori said, a breathy chuckle escaping. “But it’s actually…” he trailed off, tugging at the hem of his tank top.
“You were definitely feeling cheeky—it’s a good thing. It means you actually had fun,” Shoua said gently, a small smile playing on his lips.”But I should have responded better. Making you nervous right before wasn’t the best idea. So, I’m sorry.”
“Thanks—uh, for that,” Toshinori said, exhaling slowly through his nose, sitting a little straighter.
“Not gonna lie, though… that tank top will do you no favors.”
“Shouta!” Hizashi scolded, but he couldn’t stop the laughter that came with it.
Toshinori couldn’t help the sheepish grin that slipped across his face as he hunched in on himself. “I thought as much…”
“Do you want to change…?”
“No, I made my bed…” Toshinori said, waving away the offer.
“Now you’re gonna lie in it—literally!” Hizashi giggled, patting Toshinori’s shoulder.
Toshinori rolled his eyes playfully, but couldn’t help the shiver that ran up his spine.
“We thought we’d kick it up a notch—are you okay with that? Remember, you can call it quits at any time.”
Toshinori nodded, sucking his lower lip between his teeth for a moment before exhaling a steadying breath. He looked behind him at the large expense of his bed, just waiting for him to sprawl out on it. More exposed.
He shifted back toward the center of the bed, leaning over to grab a handful of tissues from his nightstand—just in case—before settling himself in the middle of his bed. His toes curled slightly as he sucked in another breath, his lower lip tucking between his teeth once more as he lifted his arms high overhead. He did not miss the way his tank top rode up, exposing a lot more than the last time. Looking down, he thought he could just make out the bottom edge of his scar.
The bed dipped on either side of him and Toshinori lifted his head to see Shouta kneeling on his right, and Hizashi perched on his left, but further down, along his legs. Toshinori shifted to dispel the nerves dancing up his spine.
“I’m going to work my way down,” Hizashi said easily, tapping along from his left thigh, to his knee, to his shin, to the tip of his socked toes. Toshinori couldn’t help the initial flinch.
Gentle fingers teased over his hip bones; Toshinori squirmed, a nervous giggle escaping before he could stop it. “And I’m going to work my way up,” Shouta said, the corners of his mouth turning up in a smirk.
A jolt of electricity shot up his left thigh, then his right; his legs jerking reflexively, a sharp gasp escaping as a silly grin spreading over his face. His gaze flicked to Hizashi—who was already grinning at him—as his nails slowly slid up Toshinori’s thighs again. His legs jerked again as giggles bubbled up, his nose crinkling with the effort to keep them in.
His resolve lasted all of a second until Shouta’s fingers teased along his hips, from his protruding hip bones, down along the curves. A sharp squeal tore from him before he dissolved into hapless giggles.
There was no stopping them as Hizashi started spidering his nails lightly down toward his knees. Toshinori could only flail awkwardly, a blush erupting at his roots and going all the way to his chest. He didn’t think he would sound like this.
“I think,” Shouta said, a grin slipping onto his own face as he eyed Toshinori, “we can officially say: you, Toshinori, are ticklish…”
“Now, we just need to see just how ticklish you are…” Hizashi continued, and Toshinori thought it sounded a bit ominous as his blush intensified.
He didn’t know what to say to that; he suddenly felt a strong need to curl up. Especially when Shouta’s nails dragged themselves back along his lower abdomen, teasing through divots of tight muscle as they climbed their way to his belly button. The muscles of his stomach were contracting rapidly already. He swallowed, not able to look away as Shouta’s finger drew closer to its target.
But suddenly, he was shrieking and arching, his legs flailing as strong fingers clamped around the wiry muscles of his thighs, fingertips kneading oh, so cruelly. He tried to jerk them up to his torso, but met resistance against the other man’s back. “YIIIHIHHEHHHAHA!” He slapped a hand over his mouth helplessly, his eyes wide with shock.
Hizashi’s fingers didn’t stop, but they did let up the tiniest bit, just as Shouta’s finger dipped into his belly button, forcing Toshinori into another arch as he snorted, twisting helplessly to the right, his other hand shooting down to push Shouta away, but he wasn’t trying all that hard. And that only made Shouta amused—if the look on his face was anything to go by.
A cough tore from his throat—Shouta and Hizashi’s hands quickly pulled away from him—and he quickly brought the wad of tissues he’d been clutching—to his mouth as he coughed again, pitching forward slightly. He took a deep breath, sheepishly looking back at them. But he was surprised to see, not pity on their faces, but patience and maybe a touch of concern.
He glanced at the tissues, relieved to see just a smattering of red before he quickly folded it out of sight. He sucked in a breath, grateful that it sounded clear as he sat up fully.
“Let me get you some water,” Shouta said suddenly, scooting off the bed and taking off for the kitchen.
“Probably should have thought of that ahead of time,” Hizashi said, a sheepish smile sliding in place as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Can I get you anything else? How are you feeling?”
Shouta was back, offering Toshinori an already opened bottle of water. “I’m—I’m fine, really. Maybe just a… breather?” Toshinori asked awkwardly, curling in on himself as he accepted the water, sipping slowly. Damn it… they’re definitely going to be annoyed this time…
“Of course, not a problem at all,” Hizashi assured as he shifted up the bed, which dipped on Toshinori’s other side as Shouta joined them.
“Not in the slightest,” he agreed, quiet and soft. “Come relax.” He moved up the bed and leaned against the headboard, piling most of the pillows in the center.
Slowly, Toshinori scooted back against the mound of pillows, stretching his limbs—cringing as they popped. “You really don’t mind… that I need a break?”
Hizashi settled on his other side as he took a slow pull from the bottle. “Why would we?” he asked, gently carding his fingers through Toshinori’s hair.
Shouta leaned a little closer, his fingers also gently working their way through his hair. God, why was this so relaxing? There was shifting on his right, and Shouta’s fingers were gripping his hair with a slight pull. Toshinori’s eyes shot wide, gasping sharply. And then Shouta’s breath was tickling his ear, “Taking care of, and advocating for your needs, is what good boys do, Toshinori.”
“O-Oh,” Toshinori said quietly, dipping his head and tugging at his long bangs before taking another sip of water and clearing his throat. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath, glad his lungs still felt clear. He spent a few minutes just focusing on the fingers combing through his hair and keeping his breathing steady. And then a shiver of excitement climbed up his spine. “I think… I’m ready to continue…” he said just as quietly.
“YeeAHH—” Hizashi quickly slapped his hands over his mouth as Shouta’s quirk flared to life momentarily. “Sorry, sorry…” he laughed awkwardly.
Toshinori just waved him off. It made him feel better that Hizashi seemed so excited. Fresh tissues in hand, Toshinori shuffled back down the bed, stretching out like he had been before, exhaling a slow breath through his nose. The mattress shifted around him and a quick glance told him that the two men were retaking their original positions.
“Ready?” Shouta asked, a gentle upturn on his lips as he hands hovered over Toshinori’s vulnerable torso.
His gaze flicked to Hizashi, whose own fingers were poised to strike again. A shaky grin stretched across his face as his gaze slid back to Shouta, giving a nod—nerves were bunched in his throat, he wasn’t sure he could speak if he tried. Fingers were upon him, dancing up his right side in a methodical mess as others kneaded—a lot more gently—into the muscles of his thighs once more.
His arms shook slightly with the effort to keep them up even as he twisted, hiding his right side against the mattress, his legs pressing against the mattress uselessly. “AHA!” His laughter grew gravely and steadier the longer their fingers worked. A quick squeeze to his left hip had him jerking flat on his back once more with a startled yelp, legs kicking out as fingernails lightly scraped over his kneecaps. “Ayehehahehe! Th-Thahahat feels weheheheird!”
“In a bad way?” Hizashi asked, his fingernails continuing to glide over his kneecaps, light and slow.
“Ngehehe—nohoho, juhust d-dihihifferehENT?” Toshinori forced out through growing giggles that ended in a squeal and a sharp jerk of his shoulders as Shouta’s fingers found his ears, lightly teasing at the inner cartilage as they had before.
“Good to know, good to know,” Hizashi hummed, his fingers shifting to squeeze at Toshinori’s knees instead.
Toshinori flailed sharply, a bark of laughter flying from his lung as rapid jolts shot up his spine. Persistent fingers now roamed up and down the long plains of his neck. His shoulders pulled up to his ears and his chin tucked in as he shook his head, but it did very little to defend against Shouta’s expert fingers. “GAHhaha! Eeheeheheheek!”
Nervous giggles continued to pour from him as Hizashi’s nails skated and swirled slowly down his shins, his legs jerking and kicking as goosebumps spread in the wake of Hizashi’s fingers.
And then a jolt of electricity shot up his legs and nestled deep in his brain with a shrill yelp—his legs pulling back involuntarily before settling back into place. With wide eyes, he jerked his head up to look down to the foot of the bed. He barely noticed Shouta’s fingers pulling away as the man also turned to see what had happened. Hizashi was already looking at him, his own eyes wide with shock before a very amused grin took root.
“Oh, Toshinori… I do believe you are about to be in trouble,” Hizashi said with a low chuckle, swiping a nail up the center of both sock-clad soles again.
Another yelp ripped from Toshinori’s throat before dissolving into shrill giggles, his legs kicking out, his toes flexing before curling tightly.
“I wonder if you have another spot like that…” Shouta hummed, a grin teasing at his lips as Toshinori’s gaze flicked back to him. There was an excited gleam in Shouta’s eyes. Toshinori swallowed, suddenly extra aware of the tank top he was wearing. “But I’ll wait, looks like ‘Zashi has some exploring to do…”
“You can absolutely come help me, Shou.” Nails lightly flicked across Toshinori’s left socked heel, slowly trailing back and forth.
“Snrk—ayeheheheEHE!” Toshinori curled his toes, his heel beating against the bed, though he was trying really hard not to pull away.
“I just might,” Shouta said quietly, and he was at the foot of the bed before Toshinori could say anything.
Slowly, Hizashi’s wiggling fingers carved a path upward, covering as much of Toshinori’s long narrow sole as they could. His leg jerked back, his toes involuntarily flexing the higher the Voice Hero’s fingers moved. “Something tells me, the higher I go, the more… reactive you’re going to get. What do you think, Toshinori?”
Not letting him form a response, the man’s nails were shifting and scraping down his arch. Toshinori is pretty sure he whimpered, his foot flailing helplessly as his leg jerked away from the invading fingers. But Hizashi wouldn’t be denied; easily he followed, his nails scratching and circling along Toshinori’s high arch.
“NAHAhahaha! OHO—HMPHEhehehmhmhphh!” Toshinori bolted upright, his arms curling helplessly around his waist—his feet flicking back and forth as he tried to hide one with the other. But then gentle fingers were wrapping around his right ankle, guiding his foot away, taking away the little protection he had found for himself. “Thahahat’s just mean, Shohohohouta!”
“No, mean would be if I took away your sock,” Shouta said with a grin, looking over his shoulder at Toshinori, his finger hooking into the elastic of Toshinori’s sock and snapping it gently against the man’s ankle, snickering at the whimper he received. “But I won’t—unless you want them to come off…” he trailed off, his fingers lightly scratching a path up the center of his sole.
Toshinori’s toes flexed involuntarily the higher their wandering fingers climbed. “I—eeeek!—don’t thihIHINK IHI c-cohohould HAHAhandle thahahat! YIHIHI!” A loud snort broke through his shrill laughter, one of his hands darting up to hide the lower half of his face, his eyes wide as red bloomed over his whole face. “HEHEeeek! OH NAHA!” he said, shaking his head helplessly—his feet pulling sharply from their grasp as their nails brushed the bases of his toes.
He panted, his laughter slowly subsiding as he rubbed one foot with the other, the lingering tickles slowly dissipating. He slowly looked up, a sheepish grin pulling at his lips. “S-Sorry, it got a lot more, um…” He trailed off, slowly stretching his legs back out, his toes still curled protectively.
“No need to apologize, Toshinori. You’ve done a great job handling what we dish out,” Hizashi praised, beaming at him.
“I agree, you’ve done amazing,” Shouta said in his low, calm, even tone, the corner of his mouth curled in a gentle smile.
A blush burned Toshinori’s face, his mouth stretching into a pleased but awkward grin, his fingers tugging at one of his bangs again. “Th-Thanks…” Toshinori bit the inside of his cheek. They only had two…? more spots to test, he could take it. Right?
“How are you feeling? Are you up for continuing?” Shouta asked, his face carefully neutral.
But Toshinori caught the barest thread of hopefulness. He knew if he called it quits now, they would accept it. They had been so gentle, guiding him through this new journey. He was nervous about the remaining spots. He already could tell his toes were going to be pretty… sensitive. What if… his underarms were even worse? Shouta definitely seemed excited about the possibility…
Toshinori shivered, biting back a nervous grin. “I’m a little nervous, but I think it’s… good? I can keep going, I want to…” his voice growing quiet at the end. His toes curled, one foot covering the other again. He sucked in a breath, and then settled himself back against the mattress, pillowing his head on his forearms this time. Not watching might be a mistake, but watching hadn’t seemed to help much either. Slowly, he released the breath, his toes uncurling as he shifted his feet slightly away from one another.
“Someone’s feelin’ brave,” Hizashi said, a slightly teasing lilt coating his words. A moment later, the tips of his fingers were pressed against his heels, unmoving.
He flinched. “Don’t tease me…” he pouted, the edges of his mouth twitching up slightly.
“Okay, okay,” Hizashi chuckled as fingers slowly scraped up his soles, his legs immediately jerking back a fraction of an inch before he could catch himself. He didn’t even try to hide the quiet giggles that bubbled up. A nail teased up each arch, his toes helplessly flexing which was just worse, the rest of Hizashi’s fingers gently scraping along the balls of his feet.
“AHAHAHMhmhmphhhehehe—!” Toshinori quickly slapped a hand over his mouth, his toes curling tightly as his feet flicked back and forth helplessly, his legs shaking slightly from the effort to stay still.
Hizashi’s fingers gradually slowed to a gentle scratching at the center of each foot, allowing Toshinori’s laughter to subside slightly. “I’m going to move up to your toes, now, Toshinori. Do you think you can keep from pulling away again, or would you like Shouta to help you keep them still?”
Red bloomed over his face as he finally pulled his hand from his mouth, tucking it under his head once more. His gaze flicked from Shouta, to Hizashi, and back to Shouta. “Hehelp might behe best…?”
Shouta gave a curt nod, and then reached to gently pin Toshinori’s ankles to the mattress. Toshinori let out a nervous breath, his toes curling before he could force them to relax. His heartbeat had found his ears, his lower lip tucked between his teeth. “I think he’s ready,” Shouta said, looking over his shoulder, his thumbs rubbing slow circles against the inside of Toshinori’s ankles. Toshinori relaxed a bit more.
Slowly Hizashi’s nails fanned out before shifting upward, gently scraping at the bases of his toes. Toshinori let out the shrillest squeal he was sure had ever existed, his toes curling tightly. But he quickly found that didn’t help much, just trapped Hizashi’s evil nails against the very sensitive skin. But he couldn’t uncurl them. His feet flailed, and he tugged at his ankles. “OHOHO G-GOHOHOHOD! IHIHIIHIHI—” His laughter cut off abruptly with a loud snort as Hizashi’s nails forced their way between his toes.
There was no sound for a few seconds, Toshinori pulled sharply at his ankles, but they weren’t going anywhere in Shouta’s tightening grip. And then, Toshinori was twisting sharply to the right, and coughing violently into his second wad of tissues. “D-Damnit…!”
And as was becoming the usual, everything stopped and they were pulling away. He dropped the bloodied tissues in the wastebin just as Shouta’s warm hand found his shoulder, the water bottle from earlier being pressed into his hands. He uncapped it, his eyebrows pinching as he glared at his rumpled comforter. Tipping the bottle, he let the water attempt to wash away the frustration building in his chest.
There was shifting at the bottom of the bed that slowly moved upward, and then gentle fingers were combing through his hair for a few moments. “Do you want another break, or are you done?”
Sighing, he carefully rolled onto his back and scrubbed a hand over his eyes. Why aren’t they getting upset? “A break… please…”
“Of course. Come up here,” Shouta said, patting the pile of pillows against his headboard he was now leaning against.
Carefully sitting up, Toshinori kept his gaze down as he scooted back against the pillows.
“Why do you seem so dejected?” Hizashi asked quietly, gently pressing against his other side, sandwiching him between the two of them.
“Why aren’t either of you upset that we have to keep stopping?” Toshinori asked quietly, tugging at his bangs again.
“Why would we be upset? When we approached you about this, we knew about your health issue, obviously. But we hoped you would be interested anyway; and you were,” Shouta said, gently carding his fingers through Toshinori’s hair once more. “And you know, getting upset about someone’s limits is rude, wouldn’t you say? And, also, didn’t we just go over expressing your needs is what good boys do?” Shouta asked, the corner of his mouth twitching up into a gentle smile.
Before Toshinori could respond, or even process that, Hizashi’s gentle fingers were also working through his hair. He was sure he was melting.
“This is entirely new for you. It’s not something you are used to. And we aren’t being as gentle with you as we were the other day. We are having fun; your reactions are adorable! The way your nose crinkles when you try not to laugh; or the way you squirm but you’re trying so hard not to pull away. And, you snort—it’s so cute!”
His throat felt tight, and he could feel an intense heat moving from his roots down to his chest. He hid his face behind his hands. He couldn’t look at them like this. “It is not…”
“Are you trying to tell us what we can find cute, Toshinori?” Hizashi asked. It was teasing, Toshinori could tell, but it also had a hard edge to it.
All he could do was quickly shake his head. He didn’t think words would come out if he tried.
“‘Zashi,” Shouta chuckled, “we are supposed to be keeping him calm, right now.”
“You’re right, you’re right,” Hizashi said quietly. “I’m sorry for teasing you, Toshinori.”
Taking a deep breath, Toshinori scrubbed at his face, willing the blush to go away. After a moment he slowly lowered his hands, a smile twitching at his lips. “N-No, teasing is good, uh, I think?”
“Aww—” Hizashi quickly cleared his throat, hiding his grin behind his fist. “Right, we’re working on staying calm…”
Toshinori could only chuckle, choosing to ignore the pink tinge burning his cheeks as he finished the last of the water. Clearing his throat, he shifted a bit, stretching his legs out. “I think I’m ready for you to try the last spot…” he said, biting back another nervous grin as his arms pressed protectively to his sides for a few moments.
“By all means…” Shouta said quietly, gesturing to the bed before them.
“Uh—um…” Toshinori paused, he felt a little silly asking this. He cleared his throat, scooting a little ways down the bed before pausing to look back at Shouta. “Do you want me to lay like I did when we started, or how I was a little bit ago—or does it not matter?”
Shouta’s eyebrows lifted slightly, “Interesting question to think to ask. But, however you’re more comfortable is perfectly fine.”
Nodding to himself, he continued moving down the bed, stretching out for the… fourth? time that day, pillowing his head on his forearms again. A nervous smile pulled at his lips; he felt a lot more vulnerable than the last few times. Probably because he was now expecting to have a similar reaction to what he’d just experienced. He couldn’t stop himself from squirming as Shouta took up his original post, his hands poised to strike.
“Aww, he's nervous…” Hizashi chuckled before trying to cover it with a cough, as he situated himself closer to Toshinori’s left side.
“I think this is the first time you’ve been nervous to have a new spot tested,” Shouta said, as if making a generally informative statement.
Toshinori couldn’t meet their eyes. “Wouldn’t you be, if you’d just been confronted with a particularly bad spot? And then one of the people ti—uh—ti—that helped discover it was excited at the possibility you might have another?” Toshinori said, a slight wave of panic rising in his chest. Why was he being so mouthy in this situation?!
Shouta smirked. That was bad. Bad, bad, bad. Toshinori swallowed—audibly.
“I—”
“You’re being cheeky again—good. But you make a fair point,” Shouta said, shifting his fingers higher until they hovered near Toshinori’s elbows. “I’ll start up here, and work my way down. That should help you.” His fingers descended, gently touching down just below Toshinori’s elbows, and for a moment, that was all. And then, they were slowly, lightly, flicking back and forth.
It didn’t feel ticklish. Toshinori let out a small sigh of relief. Maybe he had nothing to worry about, after all. Then, the two caught one another’s gaze. Shouta didn’t look deterred; in fact, he looked, to Toshinori, a little thrilled. Crap, did I let my guard down too soon?
To his left, he heard Hizashi quietly chuckle. That certainly couldn’t be good. As if that was some kind of cue, Shouta’s teasing fingers slowly started to work their way down toward his triceps, and almost immediately there was a slight ticklish feeling. It wasn’t enough to make Toshinori squirm, but goosebumps were forming under Shouta’s fingers and he definitely had taken notice.
“Did you think you were safe, Toshi?” Shouta teased with a grin, his fingers gently dragging down Tishinori’s triceps, then back up. There was a brief pause, and then they were descending again, lightly teasing over the lingering goosebumps.
Toshinori’s breath hitched, his lips twitching as red flared over his cheeks. No one had called him Toshi since he was a small child. Before he could even begin to process whatever he was feeling about it, Shouta’s fingers were inching closer to his armpits.
Toshinori gave a full-body flinch, his nose crinkling, as the intense tingling sensation found its way to his brain. He couldn’t meet Shouta’s eye, he did not want to see what the man thought of his reaction. But it didn’t matter because the chuckle that reached his ears was definitely one of amusement.
Lower Shouta’s nails shifted, stopping just above Toshinori’s vulnerable armpits, gently flicking back and forth. Toshinori bucked a bit, his arms jerking inward uselessly as his nose crinkled harder, a panicked grin stretched across his face.
“Shouta, stop teasing him! He looks like he’s going to implode before you get there!” Hizashi chuckled, having squeezed himself into the space in front of the headboard.
“HA—Hizashi, k-kindlehe sh-shut up!” Toshinori blurted before he could think better of it. And then everything went still. Toshinori’s heart felt like it was where his stomach should be. “I-I d-didn—”
“‘Zashi, would you kindly help Toshi here get his arms back where they belong?” Shouta asked, his voice taking on a tone Toshinori hadn't heard before.
“I’d be happy to, Shou!” And then gentle hands were prying his arms away from where they had pressed against the sides of his head and back against the mattress.
Toshinori felt more vulnerable than he ever had before. His nerves were suddenly on edge, his heart was pounding. He couldn’t feel anything. The corners of his mouth were pulling down into a frown he couldn’t stop; his vision had gone blurry. Were they angry? Had he messed this whole thing up?
“—you hear me?” Suddenly, Shouta’s face filled his vision, a look of worry etched in his features; calloused hands gently cupping Toshinori’s cheeks.
For a moment, Toshinori couldn’t respond, his mouth was moving but nothing would come out. “...What…?” And slowly, feeling was returning, a few moments later, he realized gentle hands were no longer pinning his elbows. Hizashi seemed to be missing entirely. Toshinori’s breathing was ragged and uneven, but he wasn’t sure why. His lung felt fine…
Gently, Shouta freed one of Toshinori’s arms from behind his head, slowly manipulating it until Toshinori’s palm rested on the man’s chest. “Toshi, I need you to breathe with me,” Shouta said, gentle but with authority. And then he took a slow, deep breath, held it for a few seconds, and slowly released it.
It took a few tries, but eventually, Toshinori’s lung was working properly; he and Shouta were breathing in sync. His heartbeat felt a little calmer. He blinked, shifting his gaze away from Shouta as tears streaked down his cheeks.
Schwiff, schwiff.
Tissues were pressed into the palm that had been against Shouta’s chest. Toshinori hastily rubbed at his eyes. “Do you want to sit up? We need to talk about what happened. And then, if you’ll let us, you need aftercare. We won’t force you, but it is important, especially right now.” Shouta looked unsure, as if he was the one who messed up. But Toshinori couldn't see how.
Slowly, Toshinori shifted into a seated position, then scooted back against the mountain of pillows. He wasn’t sure what was coming next, and curled in on himself tugging at one of his long bangs. “W-Where’s Hizashi?” Toshinori couldn’t help but feel like he had chased him off.
“He’s just in the other room. We thought it best if it was just you and me, since this is my fault. Unless he did something wrong, too?”
Toshinori’s brow furrowed in confusion, his head cocking to the side. “But neither of you did anything wrong.”
“But, I did. For the second time today. In the exact same way.”
“H-How do you mean?”
“The text exchange, before we got here; you asked if you would be in trouble if you weren’t wearing a shirt that fit properly. I shouldn’t have reacted like I did; not when this was so new and we haven’t really gone into depth about things. I know you and I talked about it when we arrived—but that was my first mistake,” Shouta said, scrubbing his stubbled jaw. They held eye contact for a beat, two, and then Shouta dropped his gaze.
Toshiniori could see that Shouta felt awkward, his shoulders were hunched and he didn’t seem to know what to do with his hands. He watched Shouta take a deep breath, unfurl his shoulders from his ears and sit up straighter, and then they were looking one another in the eye once more.
Shouta chewed his lip for a moment before he spoke. “And what happened just now. While, yes, we have told you that you can call it quits, anytime and for any reason—we should have covered a few more things. That’s on us, but mostly me because of the way I tend to respond to things by default, unless otherwise discussed. Which we haven’t done. We didn’t want to overwhelm you, when you didn’t even know if you’d be receptive to this. But that was clearly our mistake.
“I—well, we—should have talked more in-depth about what you could expect, how you might react, how we might react. But, most importantly, we should have made it clear: if we do something that you do not like, you need to be able to feel that you’re able to say so, immediately. This is supposed to be a safe space for you. We should have made sure that you understood that you are always the one in control. What just happened to you—shouldn’t have. We were not trying to get that kind of reaction from you, just now. And that’s what we need to talk about.”
Toshinori didn’t say anything for a few moments. He was trying to process what he’d just heard. But he could see, the longer he didn’t respond, the more nervous Shouta seemed to become. “A moment, please.”
Shouta released a sigh of relief, “Take as long as you need.”
The room was silent for a few minutes. Toshinori gradually released his grip on his hair, switching to twirling it around his finger instead. “I shouldn’t have said that to Hizashi, should I?”
“This is a space in which you should feel safe saying whatever and reacting however you need to. I was the problem. You got scared, and sad—you thought you were in actual trouble, yes?”
Toshinori ducked his head to hide the blush flaring at his cheeks, and nodded.
“That’s my fault, I’m sorry. I reacted how I usually do, and not how I should when it’s someone new.” Shouta scrubbed at his stubbled jaw again, “Usually it’s just ‘Zashi and I, and he knows how I can be. I can be a bit of a sadist, under certain circumstances...”
Toshinori’s head snapped up so fast, blush brightening as his mouth formed a small ‘o’. “S-So, you like being mean…”
“I do, but I enjoy other ways, too. I need you to know, I really have enjoyed being a part of this journey with you. Learning what makes you tick has been fun; and you really do have cute reactions,” Shouta said with a grin.
Toshinori hid his face with one hand, chucking a pillow at Shouta with the other. Shouta chuckled; Toshinori peaked at him between his long fingers.
“Feeling better?”
“Much, thank you…” Toshinori said, stretching his long limbs, cringing as they popped loudly.
“Good, I’m glad we were able to talk this out. Now, are you up for aftercare? I won’t insist, but I will stress how important it is.”
“But you didn’t get to fin—”
“And I won’t be, not tonight. If you want to play with us again, I’d love to. Or ‘Zashi can, if you prefer. And why is that?”
Toshinori’s eyebrows furrowed for a moment. Oh! He grinned, “Because I’m in control.”
“Good boy,” Shouta said, a small, but genuine, smile slipping onto his face.
Toshinori beamed, though after a few moments, it turned a bit sheepish. “I don’t know why I like when you call me that,” he said, glancing away, reaching up to rub the back of his neck.
“You like receiving praise, Toshi. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
“O-Oh… uh. I see…” Toshinori bit back a grin, and then cleared his throat. “What is aftercare, exactly…?”
Shouta shifted into a cross-legged position, tapping his fingers together. Toshinori noticed he was being careful not to touch him. “Its purpose is to help those involved regulate their emotions, build trust, and reinforce boundaries. Some people want quiet time, or to talk, or some kind of physical contact. If you don’t know what would help you, we can try some different things.”
“Can I ask what helps the two of you…?”
“Of course. You might be surprised to hear, Hizashi actually likes quiet time—he also likes having his hair played with. I’ve noticed—and I’m sure ‘Zashi, too—that you also like that,” Shouta said, a smirk flashing across his face.
Toshinori smiled sheepishly, averting his gaze for a moment. He thought that, too.
Shouta continued, “I, on the other hand, like cuddling. Sometimes I also like talking about the scene, but that depends on how I’m feeling afterwards. Also, you should know: you can always ask us anything you’re curious about.”
“Oh, uh—thanks, for telling me that.” Toshinori bit his lip. “C-Cuddling sounds nice… uh, if—”
“Okay, we’ll do those. Also, how is your body feeling? Are you in pain, tense? You did hold pretty still—that takes a lot of muscle work.”
“I’m somewhat tense, I guess.”
“Okay, ‘Zashi and I will help with that, and then we can see how you like the other things,” Shouta nodded, then started to scoot off the bed. “I’ll be right back, gonna get ‘Zashi. You just relax.”
Toshinori watched him go as he melted into his mountain of pillows. “Yes, Sir.”
Shouta paused in the doorway, looking over his shoulder. “You said that last time,” Shouta said, a crooked grin contorting his lips. Then he opened his mouth to say something else, but Toshinori could see uncertainty in his eyes.
“Whatever you just thought, you can say it…” Toshinori reassured, sitting up a little straighter, though his lower lip slipped between his teeth.
Slowly, Shouta turned to face him, his arms folding over his chest, his aura shifting to something a little darker. Toshinori tried not to react, but he could feel the nervous grin pulling at his lips. “If you keep saying that, it’ll become required, Toshi,” he said, cocking his eyebrow, a wolfish grin sliding into place as Toshinori gasped, a blush sliding down from his roots to his chest.
“N-Noted,” Toshinori squeaked.
Shouta gave a nod and then disappeared into the rest of the apartment. Toshinori could hear murmured conversation for a few moments, then the faint sound of his refrigerator opening and closing. After a few moments, both men were back.
“Hi, Toshi, are you feeling better?” Hizashi asked, quietly.
“I am, thank you. Sorry I worried you. But we talked everything out, I’ll be fine,” Toshinori replied, smiling gently at him.
“I’m glad to hear that,” Hizashi said, a blinding smile slipping onto his face as he approached the bed.
There was a brief lull as Shouta bent to rummage in his bag. When he stood, Toshinori caught sight of two bottles of lotion. “Do you have a preference for pressure?” Shouta asked, holding up the bottles for Toshinori to see.
“No—I mean, um, just not too hard?”
“Where is most of your tension? We’ll start there and work our way from there.”
“I can’t decide if my arms or calves are worse,” Toshinori said, chewing his lower lip.
Nodding to himself, Shouta climbed back onto the bed against the headboard—Hizashi also took up his original place on Toshinori’s other side. “That’s fine, we’ll take care of it,” Hizashi assured. “Ah, are you comfortable laying on your stomach? If not, don’t worry, we’ll make it work.”
Nodding slowly, Toshinori grabbed a couple of pillows and laid them down the bed, and then shifted down and carefully rolled over, until the pillows were pressed gently against his left side. He grabbed another pillow and tucked it under his chin, leaving his left arm outstretched. His toes curled slightly. “Is this okay?”
“Perfect, thank you! Ah, we can do your back too, obviously, but do you want us to skip the lotion and stay over your top, or do you want to pull up the back of it?”
“Um…” Toshinori paused for a moment, then worked his tank top up, letting it pool around his neck before he settled back into place, hiding his scar against the pillows once more. He let his eyes flutter closed, focusing on the breathing around him and the gentle pops and snaps of lotion bottles opening and closing. Strong, sure fingertips were soon working into his palm, thumbs rolling into the back of his hand. Gentle fingers kneaded into the sides of his left calf muscles, thumbs rolling circles along the back of them. “Ngghh…”
Gradually, their fingers worked along his arms and legs, pulling the tension from his muscles until Toshinori felt more like goo, than human. And apparently they still had work to do. “Toshi, do you want me to leave your socks on, take them off, or skip your feet all together? I don’t want to accidentally do something,” Hizashi asked, as he worked his way back down his right leg, working his fingers along the man’s ankles, his thumbs massaging circles into the insides of his ankles.
Toshinori’s toes curled, a nervous giggle slipping out as he tried to process Hizashi’s question. “Um, maybe skip, this time?” He also didn’t want to tense up and ruin everything they’d just done; he felt amazing.
“Sure thing, bug guy,” Hizashi said, gently patting his right calf before moving up the bed and settling next to Toshinori’s right side.
Lotion bottles opened and closed again, and then their distinct touches set to work on working out the stubborn knots. They were surprisingly in sync as they moved, even though their techniques were vastly different. Soon, Toshinori felt like he was one with the mattress, feeling a bit floaty as he had at the end of their first playdate.
They worked their way from the outside in, top to bottom; Toshinori thought that if all massages felt this amazing, he’d have to start getting them—unsightly scar be damned. Gradually they worked their way to his spin, gently but firmly working out the kinks and pops. A spot near his lower back, when worked, pulled a surprise moan from him; his eyes flew open as he clamped a hand over his mouth, his face ablaze with embarrassment. He was trying really hard not to tense up.
“Relax, Toshi,” Hizashi murmured, reaching up to card a set of fingers through Toshinori’s hair. “It just means we’re doing our job.”
Giving a small nod, Toshinori let his hand fall away as he melted once more, though the bright blush still stained his cheeks as he let his eyes flutter closed once more. He was definitely going to add ‘massages’ to his aftercare list.
“Did we miss anywhere that needs attention?”
“Hmm…? Oh, no, I feel… really good…” Toshinori mumbled into the pillow he’d been holding.
“Good, glad we could help,” Shouta murmured, gently sliding Toshinori’s tank top back down. “Do you want to cuddle now, or do you want to be a puddle for a few more minutes?”
Toshinori could hear the curl of amusement in his voice. He peeked an eye open to peer up at Shouta. “Can’t I have both?”
“Isn’t that why they call it a cuddle puddle?” Hizashi giggled, snatching a pillow and flopping onto his side next to Toshinori.
“No? I don’t know, why are you making me think right now?” Shouta said with a playful grumble as he grabbed his own pillow and moved back to the side of the bed he’d occupied for both of the day to lay down.
Scooting in, they both hooked a leg over one of Toshinori’s, tucking an arm under their head, the other gently working through his blond tangles.
Toshinori didn’t think it was possible to become any more goo-like, but they were quickly proving him wrong. He sighed in contentment; yeah, it was safe to say he definitely liked having his hair played with—and cuddles. He shifted, snaking an arm around each of their waists and pulled them closer, sharply, earning him a surprised giggles from Hizashi.
“I’m sorry; were we not cuddling you to your liking?” Shouta chuckled, letting his nails scratch against Toshinori’s scalp for a few moments.
Toshinori shuddered, turning his head slightly to playfully glare at Shouta. “Nnghh–uh, I mean, no, you were not…” His eyes fluttered closed again as Shouta’s fingers went back to gently working through his hair.
On his other side, Hizashi rolled his eyes. “Do I have to separate you two?” He teased, though he snuggled closer, gently raking his fingers through the hair above Toshi’s ear, his pinky gently grazing the shell of it.
“Aaaha! No…” Toshinori said with a shiver, tightening his hold on them just a little as he turned to look at Hizashi, giving him a playful pout.
“‘Zashi… quit teasing Toshi,” Shouta said through a stifled yawn, his fingers slowing just a bit.
“Someone’s ready for a nap,” Toshinori giggled, turning back to look at Shouta once more.
“If you don’t release us, I will, in fact, be napping here.”
Toshinori grinned, “I wouldn’t mind…” He didn’t tighten his grip, but it didn’t loosen either.
Shouta stared back at him for a moment, his fingers gently scratching at Toshinori’s scalp once more. “So cheeky.” He smirked, shifting a little closer, and letting his eyes slip closed. “Zashi. You might as well nap. Doesn’t look like we will be leaving anytime soon…”
“That’s… fine…” he said around a yawn of his own, letting his fingers slide from Toshinori’s locks to settle against his back.
Soon, the room was quiet, the only sounds were even breaths from the three men.
He's not insanely ticklish, but there are a few spots that will make him belly laugh
His feet, sides, and hips
His laugh is gruff and soft, unless you hit one of his bad spots, then it's boisterous and kind of wheezy
Teasing doesn't effect him too much
He tries to hold back his laughter as long as he can
He will fight back if he's not held down
He can't handle being tickled for too long because he tires out easily
He much prefers being a ler if he has to participate in tickling
One of his favorite parts is the thrill of the chase
He gets really playful when he's on the hunt
"Running away is illogical."
"You are only delaying the inevitable."
"The longer you make me waste my time, the longer you're going to pay for it."
He uses his scarf as bondage if he needs to
If he wants to be really mean, he'll disable the lee's quirk
Aftercare is extremely important to him
He gets kinda tsundere after a tickle session
"Don't be ridiculous, of course you need aftercare."
"I don't care if you think you don't need it, I know you do."
He doesn't tickle people on the fly, so you'd have to literally ask him for it
He doesn't understand most hints aside from provoking him with tickles
If you try asking him, but can't really say it, he'll be confused and wonder why you're having so much trouble
"What's wrong? It's just a word."
