Lumax Tickle Headcanons
Believe it or not, they have went through their short time of being friends not knowing about each other’s ticklishness until only a month into now dating each other
It was another hot summer day, the group refusing to do anything outside so they all lounged around in Mike’s basement that soon became the hangout spot quickly overtime
Max can’t tell you how it begun, was being too busy listening to Dustin chat her ear off about who knows what this time, until Lucas came into her peripheral vision trying to fight off a very much annoyed Mike who’s following behind with rapid squeezes to his sides
Cue Lucas letting out the biggest wheezy screech Max has ever heard from him, just watching in absolute shock for a couple of seconds
“Lucas, there’s no way…you’re ticklish?” She felt herself slightly cringe at the dumb question, but she just can’t wrap her head around how late she is discovering this beautiful weakness about her boyfriend that she will no doubt use against him any chance she gets
“Oh yeah, and he’s about to get it ten times worse..!” Mike yells over his dear best friend’s boisterous laughter, urging Dustin to come and help him out which he gladly does so
Lucas was a fool to ever think Max would forget about that day so easily
She tried it the very next day, actually
She didn’t even attempt to give Lucas any build-up, just eager to find out which spots gets him thrashing and which earns her that same screech Mike got out of him
Lucas for the life of him cannot stand being tickled, but bless him for his hatred of it only makes him a much more fun target in the friend group
When it came to Max though, he never once tried fighting back
It of course grabbed her attention right away, mistaking it of him possibly enjoying himself that she oh can’t wait to tease him relentlessly about
“You keep begging me no, yet you haven’t tried to roll away from me yet. Why’s that, hm?“ She says with a playful pitch kickstarting in her tone, getting ready for a flustered Lucas
The scribbles to his ribs were put to a short rest, giving him some time to breathe and collect his words
He only looks up at her with that sparkle in his eyes that never fails to have Max’s heart skip a beat, a sparkle he’s had ever since the day he found out who was behind the username of madmax
“Well, you’re clearly having fun, so I’ll force myself to suffer just to see that.”
Max only blinks. Or, she likes to believe that’s all how she reacted, yet the creeping blush on her cheeks says otherwise
“You’re an idiot.” Then goes right back to giving him hell with the scribbles on his ribs before he can even think to get another word out
Lucas use to love messing with Max purposefully to get a reaction out of her in the most lighthearted way there is, but he’s been doomed with that ever since Max found out about his ticklishness and just launches a attack on him that leaves him in a apologetically giggly mess
Max isn’t safe, however
Lucas felt brave one day and decided to fight back after all, slipping a hand to worm under Max’s armpit as she was getting dangerously close to his ribs again that puts him in a thrashing mess
The reaction he received was gold, her immediately stopping to slam her arms down to protect herself as she squealed out, a squeal that Lucas was now set to hear more of
“Ohoho, this just got good.”
“Lucas, no.” Max mustered up her bestest glare, but it bounced right off of her boyfriend
“Lucas, yes.” As the tables are now flipped and he’s the one mapping out as many spots that he can find that has Max’s laugh raise in pitch here and get a kick out of her legs there
Unlike Max who saves her tickles for Lucas whenever he absolutely deserves it for being a pain in the ass, Lucas will tickle her any opening chance he gets coming his way
His all-time favorite is surprise tickles, getting her to jump nearly a foot in the air from her peace being disrupted by a quick wiggle to her side
He won’t even look at her while he does it, whistling like he doesn’t have a single clue in the world why she is now sending daggers his way
One really mean thing he does is when they’re cuddling together and gets the inevitable urge to pretend like he’s simply moving his arms to get more comfortable, but leaves little light jabs and wiggles around Max’s entire midsection
“Lucas, stohop!” She instantly calls him out on it, her giggles growing when she tries to free herself from his grasp but he only tightens his hold around her
“What? I’m literally not doing anything. I’m trying to get comfy, can you stop squirming so much?” Max doesn’t know how, but his fake obliviousness just makes everything tickle way more than it’s suppose to, and it’s the worst thing ever especially since Lucas is well aware of it
I can’t believe we haven’t gotten a lumax tickle scene this far into the show. Lumax tickle scene…please save me….
