ive been thinking a lotttt about how tickle fights would go with charmacden, so here are my thoughts on that! if you like these and would like some various tk hcs too just lmk i have so much more to say…

tickle fights + charmacden
macden
ends violently most times because mac wont call mercy when being tickled unless hes literally abt to pass out from laughing so hard, meanwhile den is a competitive asshole who’d rather die than lose in even such a silly fight. as well, dennis admittedly could care less if mac’s stubborness leads him to hurting himself. (evil ass ler)
if mac is winning, it’s kinda the complete opposite? he overthinks a shit ton and worries abt taking things too far, but dennis will call mercy (with great shame and hatred) if he’s abt to hit his limit. alot of their tk fights are caused by bets or petty arguments. starting out heated, then turning almost sweet and lighthearted when they’re both laughing their asses off like idiots, before turning heated again when they start treating it like war and not a playful fight to fix their stupid dispute. in general, they both really hate losing to each other lol
now… if you ask me abt how macden tickle fights are when they’re DATING… i have very different answers.
charden
charlie loses every time, but mainly because he’s absolutely terrible at fighting back against dennis, their tk fights are relatively silly, always initiated by dennis (which helps him always have the upper hand) and never aggressive like how macden’s are…
usually, it starts because dennis wants something from char, and tickling charlie until he agrees is suchhh an easy way for him to get what he wants. meanwhile, charlie’s fight or flight kicks in and he instinctively fights back. its always uncoordinated though, charlie tickling any spot within reach and HOPING it works.
still? dennis isnt mean or rough with charlie like he is with mac, actually taking notice for when he’s reaching his limit. i lowkey hc all of the gang has a big soft spot specifically for charlie, especially den & dee.
dennis’ strategy is to target his worst spots IMMEDIATELY and get charlie so lost in his own frantic laughter that as soon as he asks the question “have you had enough? do you give in?” charlie’s brain is so fried that he instantly giggles out a “yes!”
charmac
charmac tickle fights are the classic playful, fun, and silly tkl fights you see between good friends. 50/50 on who wins, because charlie actually knows how to fight back against mac. (they’ve been friends for so long OFC they know each others worst spots) their tk fights are always unprompted, spring of the moment and NOT mean/aggressive (which is definitely thanks to den’s evil ass not being involved.)
alot like charden, charlie doesn’t usually initiate their tickle fights. i think charmacden are a lot like how rcg are, with charlie being the least physically affectionate out of the three. yet, he still enjoys those sweet moments anyways. either way though, he isnt blindsided and can manage to turn the tables in a tickle fight against mac, especially if he get’s his tummy.
mac will sometimes pretend to lose during their tk fights because he doesn’t mind letting charlie win at all, its a fun game with charlie, not a war for his dignity/pride like with dennis lol
charmacden
group tickle fights usually end with mac and charlie teaming up on dennis. dude’s suchhhh a prick and an unfair ler so he deserves it, plus its hilarious to see such a seemingly well put together guy scream with laughter and squirm underneath them. it’s also nice that can’t turn the tables when its 2 on 1. he’s too busy laughing his ass off to fight back, or think of a way to gain the upperhand.
although… the thought of dennis somehow winning a 2v1 is insanely cute to me. one hand tickling mac’s tummy while the other get’s charlie’s hip. both of them LOST how how they managed to get in this position— while dennis is just smug as hell looking down at them.
if they are teaming up on charlie it could be for something as simple as dennis & mac sharing a glance, and suddenly tackling him. its like they have some unspoken language for when they’re both in the mood to tickle the shit out of the poor guy. again, the two of them never push char past his limitations, tkling charlie is an excuse for mac and den to have fun, because he’s really ticklish and his reactions are super funny to watch.
if they team up on mac, they’re 100% playfully bullying him the whole time. one of the only times you’ll hear teases coming from charlie, he’ll hear dennis start teasing mac and it just lights something in his brain, having to join in. tbf, mac is so easy to fluster when he’s being tickled and his laugh is probably the cutest of the three. it just makes it that much more fun to team up on him.
the bullying will probably end after mac laughs out an embarrassing phrase they wanted him to say, or if it gets to the point where mac actually giggles for them to “give him a break” (it means stop, its just that for his egos sake he could never truly ask for mercy)
