Hii, I wanted to write for tears of themis and I love my two boys Luke and Marius... Rosa is soooo luckyyyy but I love her too. I'm writing this I'm second pov
Anyway, enjoy this!
Spoilers for tears of themis game
Y/N hasn't been able to express her gratitude over having Luke call her to spend the night.
Of course, you love Luke... everything about his smile... his strength... his teasing and also his shyness, too. They are all beautiful things.
You also like another aspect of him... but it's a rare chance for you to catch him in that state.
The time you used the toy cuffs failed... well at least in the end... but he has been playing around with you too.
If there's a way Y/N can get him once... genuinely making him seem cute and helpless. It's a mission you have been intending to accomplish.
"Hey Y/N" a soft tone from a luke makes you tilt you head back at him where he sits next to you on the couch now gently lowering his head on your lap. "You gotten so beautiful"
Blushing, somehow he's gentle but even he's blushing from what he said, but it's a happy one. You grin "I think you are cute, Luke"
And there is that blush. He eyes away from you, burning red but smiling with endearment "Don't you mean yourself? You know its because of you"
You began to touch his face, smooth cheeks, light lips, he's perfect. That's when you get an idea... something about his past makes you want to try it once more.
"Luke..."
He looks up with his burning brown passionate eyes, "Hmm?"
Your finger tips trail down his abdomen, towards the lift of them hem of his shirt. Gently grazing his waist making him jolt a bit, eyes slightly wide "Y/N?!"
"Hm?" Now you hum, your finger tips stalling your purpose to tickle him, as you pretend to slide your long fingers over the shirt but 'accidentally' tracing his skin.
Slowly, you see him trying to keep a straight face, but your finger would often circle around his belly as well and that makes him slightly anxious with giggles.
"Are you OK, Luke?" Hiding her mischievous tone "you so jumpy"
He clears his throat. "I... hehe, I mean, yeah, I'm ok"
You hide a giggle yourself when your fingers make way around his belly button circling the rim and he groans "Ahh... wahait Y/n"
"Don't tell me this is tickling you"
He shakes his head, though the crooked smile tells otherwise. Then you persistently messed with his belly button beneath the abs... circling there and making his chest shaky.
Eventually, you pinch his ribs, and that makes his squeak and grab your wrist. Eyes suddenly burning bright, you state the obvious, "So you are still ticklish"
Luke stares at you now, slightly red, a look which you see often, but this opportunity to get him back for his strength is a first.
And you finally began.
Luke suddenly curls away from your skittering nimble fingers. You always knew his weakness to tickles. It's strange how he's so ticklish that it can be easily used against him. Never matter, you admire this cute quirk of his. His airy bright laughter is childish and sweet.
"Ahahaha Y/n keeehehee aahah! Nohohot thehehere!"
"I'm sorry, dear detective..." Y/n tease now slowing the tickles as you see he's panting a bit "But you can't be begging so easily to a little tickling"
"Ahaha yohohou ahahare mehehean." From that reply, you make him squeal when you decide to squeeze his ribs a perfect spot to make him subservient. Right now, he's genuinely being cornered by tickling... he's not fighting back much, because he's already weakneed from the tickling.
You love to tease him, "Lukie... did you know humans have thirty ribs?" Purposefully getting them wrong, she baits him to say this with giggly laughter.
"Nahaha ihihihi hahaahave twehehenty fohohour" shaking his head, he holds his arms tightly to his sides to evade your small hands.
"You Sure?" You snicker and now pinches his lower ribs, emphasising how he sealed his fate."Let's count and see who's right... there's oooone pair"
"NOHOOO!" Luke's laugh leaps an octave, and now he's tired out enough to be weaker to your tickling.
"twoooo"
He shrieks a sound so uncharacteristic bjt adorable that even you can compose yourself "Eek! Ahaha y/n mehehercy mercy! Hahahaa"
"Threee.... " You mercilessly scratched the lower ribs perfectly, getting him to shriek. However, you did see he's got good stamina to bear you counting all his twenty-four ribs.
He breathes now, clutching his sides. "Yohou are so hehe mischievous"
Giggling, you lean to his side, stroking his chin. "I love it when you laugh like that... It's cute"
He winces with a giggle, "Ahh, it's so uncool, tho"
"I think you are cool and cute," you playfully say, now cuddling closer, feeling the afternoon draw a lovely crimson, hiding both your blushes from the flushing sun.
Sorry for the lame title, but welcome to my second Rosa fic! Special thanks to @pegasusflight77 and @aaannniii for your ideas, I’ve combined the two prompts to create this, I hope you enjoy 💕
You felt awful when you eventually came off the phone to Holt. You just called in sick for the third day in the row. You said you had caught a bug from your little sister who’s in nursery, but in reality, your mental health had taken a huge dive, you struggled with the most basic self care such was eating and showering, and you just had no motivation whatsoever.
You lay in bed, it was one in the afternoon and you had no intentions in getting out of bed anytime soon, so you tried to go back to sleep.
However, that plan failed, since you heard someone let herself into your flat. You didn’t know what to do. On the one hand, if someone was breaking in, you’d probably get robbed. On the other hand, you didn’t care, and could easily get other stuff. If you get hurt, you get hurt.
“Y/N?”
You immediately recognised Rosa’s voice, and you let out a sigh of relief. You forgot that you told her where the spare key was hidden.
“I’m in my room.” You murmur out, curling up under the covers to prepare for an interrogation. You heard the door open and a sigh coming from the detective you looked up to.
“Rosa… go home, I don’t want to give you the bug.” You murmur out, despite knowing that she never would’ve believed you.
“The so called bug your 6 year old sister got from nursery? Sure, Y/N/N, great logic there.” Rosa replied, not being able to hold back her chuckle at your inability to remember that six year olds do not go to nursery.
You mumbled out a swear word as you simply curled up more, feeling embarrassed about your mistake.
“So what’s going on?” She asked, walking over to your lump on the bed and placing a hand on it. She even surprised herself with how gentle she was being, she really did have a soft spot for you.
You sighed, not knowing how to respond. You knew you couldn’t lie to Rosa, but at the same time, you didn’t want to bother her about what was going on in your head, you honestly weren’t sure how she’d react.
“Okay, let’s come back to that. Have you eaten?” She asked, almost certain that she knew the answer. You just gave a dry chuckle in response. “Does a single apple count?” You replied sarcastically, making Rosa roll her eyes and suddenly rip the covers off.
“I’ll let you figure out the answer to that.” She replied, smirking when you gasped and curled up even more. Groaning, you tried to reach for the covers to hide yourself away again, but Rosa was having none of it, she gently grabbed your wrist before you even got close to it.
“Then get up, I got you a gift and I wanna make sure it fits and then I’m gonna make you food.” Rosa told you, offering you her hand, she could see you thinking twice about the situation, so she leaned in close to you a playful yet firm glare. “And if you don’t eat, I swear I will tie you to a chair and force feed you.”
Your eyes widened as you reluctantly got out of bed for the first time that day. You knew Rosa looked at you in a different way, as if she was an aunt or a big sister looking out for you as you were the small fish in the big pond which was the 99th precinct, but you knew when she was being serious with you, and that it was best to go with her to avoid the consequences.
The two of you walked into the kitchen where there was a plastic bag on your table. “I got you a little something, I thought it was something you’d wear outside of work.” She told you, nodding towards it as you looked inside the bag.
You smiled for the first time in days as you took out a dark purple top, which had tiny black stars and planets dotted around it, along with the words “give me space” in the middle. The only thing was, it was a crop top, and you were extremely self conscious of your body.
“I love it, so much, I think I can already tell it’s too short though.” You explained. “Maybe we could exchange it for a larger size?” You asked hopefully as you looked up at Rosa.
“Bull crap, all the kids your age are wearing crop tops, I bet you’ll look cute in it, try it on.” She suggested, making you bite your lip nervously and nod. You went into your room and got changed, staring at yourself in the mirror once you had it on. It wasn’t as short as you thought, but it could easily show off your stomach if you reached up.
Hesitantly, you headed back out into the kitchen, wrapping your arms around yourself self consciously as you smiled a little at Rosa.
“I still love the design, thank you so much.” You told her, hoping to make her forget about how it was meant to be a crop top.
“Let me see all of it.” Rosa instructed, knowing exactly what you were up to. It was times like that where you completely forgot that she was a badass detective. You sighed and unwrapped your torso, looking down shamefully at your body as Rosa came over for a closer look. She smiled and pulled you into a hug. “You look adorable.” She told you fondly, making you blush as you hugged her back, even that slight arm raise made your shirt ride up.
The two of you hugged for a while, Rosa could tell you needed it. Eventually, she pulled away, her fingers skimming your bare sides as she did so, causing you to flinch and let out a gasp.
“What’s wrong? I thought you liked it.” Rosa asked, trying to read your body language as you blushed and shook your head. You tried to think of an explanation on the spot, but your thoughts were soon halted as you suddenly felt a pair hands attacking your sides.
“Figured it out.” Rosa told you simply as she followed you down when you fell onto your knees with fits of giggles.
“Rohohohosa!” You squealed out, trying to shove her away, it totally wasn’t fair that you were wearing a crop top, as you felt a million times more vulnerable than usual. You were so embarrassed that the person you looked up to now knew your number one weakness too, she was definitely going to tell the others. Oh geez, Jake would get you all the time if he ever found out.
“What? You haven’t laughed in weeks, I’m just helping you out.” She told you in a monotone voice, although deep down, she was thrilled to see you genuinely smile and laugh for once. She knew you looked up to her, but she didn’t want you to emotionally shut down like she did.
“There ahahahre other ways!” You protested, slamming your arms down with a squeal as she skittered under your arms, she switched between digging in and gently scribbling to keep you on your toes.
“Nope, this is the only method allowed. Amy instructed me not to hurt you, and Terry told me not to interrogate you, so here we are.” Rosa explained, going back down to gently scribble into the middle of your belly, which caused you to squeal with high pitched giggles. “Thehehehey knehehehew?!”
Rosa rolled her eyes, suddenly moving to gently dig into your hips. “We’re detectives, you dork. It’s what we do.” She replied, smirking a little as her sudden change in attack caused you to snort in between fits of laughter.
You couldn’t help but feel a little warm inside at the thought of your colleagues actually caring about you. Everyone always seemed so into their cases and you had always felt a little left out. Yes, you talked to the detectives, and you had a close bond with Rosa, but you didn’t think you had that connection with them that they had with each other, but now you thought a little differently.
Rosa just smirked a little to herself as she attacked everywhere she could, trying to get the bare skin where possible to get you squealing, but eventually, she knew you were gonna pass out, so she gently takes her fingers up and down your sides.
“So, I’m gonna make you Mac and cheese, then you’re gonna come to Shaws with us, I promise I’ll get you an orange juice, got it?” She teased, although you felt distant from everyone, they always seemed to tease you about your age, but you didn’t mind, it made you feel a little more included.
“Fihihihine…” you giggled out, shoving your shirt down as far as it would go the second Rosa took her evil fingers off you.
You saw her go and raid your cupboards, knowing you’d have stacks of Annie’s available. Chuckling, you stood up and went to go change.
“You’re wearing that top out!“ Rosa called out, causing you to groan dramatically, but you went to just get a jacket and jeans to change into anyway. You looked in the mirror afterwards, nodding at yourself before joining Rosa in the kitchen to have your first decent meal in days, so you were ready to go out and have an amazing night with the 99.
Finally, my first of hopefully many Brooklyn 99 fics! This is a fluffy Rosa x Reader fic, please feel free to send any B99 prompts as I loved writing this, enjoy! ❤️
TW: Brief mention of s*****e
It was 7am, and you were just getting ready to leave your moms to go to the NYPD, you were lucky enough to get a months work experience in the 99th precinct. Today was your very first day and you were terrified and excited at the same time.
You wanted to be a detective when you left school and you heard that this precinct had some of the best detectives in the NYPD, you were determined to make a good impression on everyone, especially Captain Holt.
You left the house around half an hour later, your leg bouncing anxiously on the subway as you waited to get to your destination. The ride was long, and the wait was not helping your nerves.
Eventually, you got to your stop, you got out the station and headed to the precinct, beginning to play with your hands nervously as you did so.
You took in a deep breath as you looked up at the huge building in front of you, knowing it was going to be your second home for the next month, and that thought overwhelmed you quite a lot, but you also knew that the first day was always the most terrifying.
‘Right, the email said to go up to the fourth floor, I’ll take the lift.’ You thought to yourself as you pressed the button to call the lift, still playing with your fingers when you got in.
The lift ride took forever, and the wait just made your nerves a million times worse.
Eventually, the doors opened, and you braced yourself for the sight of your the 99th precinct.
You were greeted by a guy who looked very reluctant to wear a tie, you wasn’t too sure if he was actually a detective in all honesty. As well as a rather intimidating woman with black hair and leather jacket.
“Aw Rosa! You can’t go hard on them, they’re so cute!” The sort of scruffy looking man smirked as you stepped out of the lift. You bit your lip, was he talking about you?
“Try me, I could be harsh on a two year old, so a 16 year old is no problem.” The woman replied with a shrug, folding her arms as a smarter looking woman shoved gently past them, almost as if she knew how terrified you were.
“Y/N, right? Ignore these two, I’ll take you to meet Captain Holt.” The smart woman said with a gentle smile. You nodded silently, clutching your notebook and pen as you followed her into an office. She knocked on the door.
“Captain? Our student is here, I saved them from Diaz and Peralta.” She said after she poked her head in.
“Thank you, Santiago. Please send them in.” Holt replied, and with that, the detective opened the door wider to allow you to step in.
“Could you send Diaz in too? She’s going to be their mentor.” Holt added, that comment making Santiago frown a little, perhaps with jealousy, but she followed her Captains orders and sent the intimidating detective in.
“Take a seat, Y/N, I’d like to welcome you to the 99th precinct, we are pleased to have you here.” Holt greeted as you saw your new mentor come into the room and sit next to you.
“This is Rosa Diaz, I thought it would be good to put the two of you together so you can shadow her.” Holt explained, you looked and gave Rosa a polite smile.
“Why couldn’t you get Amy to mentor the kid?” Rosa asked, looking at you briefly. “No offence.”
Your face dropped, you were terrified of her and you had to spend at least the first week with her, you didn’t know what to say or do.
“Detective Santiago is going on a stakeout with Sargent Jeffords. I thought you were the best role model.” Holt told her, he seemed certain about his decision. “You can start by showing Y/N around the precinct.”
“Fine, come with me, kid.” Rosa told you, standing up and heading out of the office, you went to stand up too before Holt caught your attention.
“I know Diaz seems scary, but I think she will have a soft spot for you by the end of the day, so try not to seem too intimidated by her.” Holt told you in a somewhat gentle voice.
You nodded. “Alright, thank you sir.” You replied, trying to seem confident before following Rosa.
You got shown the evidence room and briefly the holding cell, as well as where various files were around the main office, before finally taking you into the interrogation room. You’ve always been curious by the two way mirror that you’ve seen in police shows. The two of you were currently on the side where the interrogation takes place, and Rosa seemed to have decided to have a little break, as she sat on the cop side of the table, encouraging you to sit opposite her.
“So what made you decide to come here?” Rosa asked you, you were slightly surprised, since this was the first time she seemed to willingly make conversation with you.
“The NYPD saved my brothers life after he tried to… end it. It made me realise that I want to help people, whether if it’s finding their personal items or saving someone’s life.” You explain, your face dropping a little from remembering the event.
Rosa nodded in understanding. “That’s one of the best answers I’ve heard, most people say that they want to carry a weapon and skip traffic lights. They soon pull out after they see all the paperwork they have to do.” She explained. “I’m sorry that happened with your brother though.”
You nod silently, not knowing how to respond as you tensed up and played with your fingers. Rosa noticed, and immediately changed the subject.
“How’s it feel to be sitting where the suspect is? Can’t be nice, huh? Especially when I’m sat here opposite you in uniform.”
You looked up at her, and briefly behind her at yourself in the mirror, it wasn’t comfortable. You couldn’t imagine sitting here for hours whilst someone like Rosa was trying to get a confession out of you.
“Yeah it’s… uncomfortable.” You replied with an awkward chuckle. “I can imagine it would be a million times worse if I was actually guilty of something.”
Rosa raised her eyebrow, already beginning to grow fond of you. She decided to lighten up the situation a bit.
“I have evidence that says otherwise.”
Your eyes widen unexpectedly, clearly surprised at her words. Your anxiety suddenly shot through the roof, your leg once again bouncing.
Rosa playfully leaned in towards you. “Well, your application to work here was well written, you’re passionate, and seem to have a positive work attitude. I’m no expert, but I would say you’re guilty of being a bright young kid with a great future ahead of them.” She winked.
You let out a sigh, she was just joking around. You couldn’t believe how sweet she was all of a sudden, but you wish you could believe her. Your grades weren’t the best and you felt like you messed everything up, so you just looked down and shook your head.
“Hmm…” Rosa started, and then surprisingly squeezed your knee, making you flinch and hit your knee against the table. “Well, in the interrogations you see in the movies, there’s a lot of violence involved to get suspects to talk. We don’t do that here, we either play guitar very badly whilst screaming, or let them stir. However with you, I’m going to do things a little differently.” She told you, standing up and slowly walking behind you, leaning in close to your ear. “So Y/N, what kind of person are you?”
You bit your lip, leaning away from Rosa as you simply shrugged in response. “Well, I’m kind of a dumbass, with a bit of stupid.” You explained, trying to play along, but you were clearly still nervous.
“Wrong, you’re a bright kid, aren’t you?” She asked, before suddenly digging into your ribs, smirking evilly.
You yelped and shrieked with giggles, falling back into your chair as you thrashed from side to side. “WHAHAHAHAT THE FUHUHUHUCK?!” You yelled out.
“Ah, no swearing on the job, Y/N, that is very unprofessional.” Rosa told you casually as if she wasn’t attacking you, she moved down and squeezed rapidly into your sides, causing you to blush and squeal with giggles.
“Buhuhuhut I am duhuhuhumb!” You replied, not knowing whether to fight Rosa off or tough it out. You heard her chuckle as she moved to dig under your arms.
“Detectives aren’t usually this sensitive either.” Rosa commented, scribbling in gently since it seemed to get the biggest reaction from you.
You couldn’t do anything but squeeze your arms against your sides as you cackled with giggles. How on earth did it go from feeling intimidated by Rosa to being wrecked by her?!
“Oh man, imagine if you were handcuffed right now, you’d be dead!” She grinned evilly, shaking her hands into your belly now.
You squealed once again and kicked out as much as possible. She was right, if your movements were restricted any more, then you wouldn’t cope, being trapped to a chair was bad enough.
“DIHIHIHIAZ!” You screeched out, trying to stand up, but you were so sensitive you just fell back down into the chair, this really was torture.
“So, what kinda kiddo are you?” She asked, scribbling her fingers wherever they could go in an attempt to get the correct answer out of you.
“A BRIHIHIHIGHT OHOHOHONE!” You replied, giving in as you kept giggling hysterically whilst attempting to maintain your so called toughness.
Rosa grinned proudly and let you go, patting your shoulder reassuringly. “Correct, you’re guilty of being a bright kid, but if you confess incorrectly whilst you’re with me, you’ll go straight back in the chair.” Rosa told you with a wink. “Now come on, I’ll show you a case I’m working on.”
The two of you got up to leave the room, but not before you heard muffled cheering, then the flip of a switch. The two of you turned around to see Peralta on the other side of the two way mirror.
“I knew you’d end up getting a soft spot from them Rosa! I have all the proof I need!” He said enthusiastically, making Rosa roll her eyes.
“Whatever Jake.” She replied, looking at you with a fond smile.
