It's been more than 24 hours since President Obama announced the death of Osama bin Laden. Since then, thousands of people have celebrated by marching in the streets and chanting. Until a few hours ago, I was happy too, but then it hit me; we are celebrating the death of a man. I know what you'll say: "Oliver" --my name's Oliver BTW -- "Oliver, Osama bin Laden was responsible for the death of thousands of Americans on 9/11(/01), of course we're happy! Here buddy, have a beer!!!!!" You can keep your beer, I'm sure it was Budweiser. (Before you rage, it's not even owned by a US company) Seriously, WTF? Are we that mad? Yes I know the guy's actions sparked 2 wars that cost us billions of dollars, that caused the deaths of thousands (Americans and others), and we party? On 09/11/01, right after the First Tower fell, there were people in Middle-East that celebrated the death of Americans and we celebrate the death of a guy? We fucking party? On Twitter, there were 2 or 3 sport celebs (can't remember their names, not that I care) that mentioned the same thing and they were rebuked. A follower of one of them even said: "Of course it's a fucking celebration moron, the guy killed nearly 3,000 Americans" *facepalm* I know some of you will say: "But dude, Obama must be partying hard right so we are allowed to party too, calme down!" Maybe. Maybe he is partying, but I highly doubt it. I don't know what the guy's thinking (I can't read minds yet) but I am pretty sure that he is worrying about the safety of his people because, spoiler alert: there will be retaliations. /rage - Oliver Listening to: Deadalus - Thrice
