Cooper had turned over something of a new leaf. It did not matter how many times he had to explain this to everyone around him- he was a different man than he had been since he was 19 years old. Still, Coop said it too often to those who had known him back then. It had been almost the only thing on his mind since the incident of a few days past. He was- he had been different the last few days. Sullen, non-responsive, guilt-ridden over forgetting his own daughter. Like, what the hell?
He saw someone should remember better. Adult, actual Cooper wouldn’t have given the other a second thought. But again, his 19 year old memories were fresh on the mind. “hi- I- I know we’ve met before. But it’s been a rough for days so- do you mind reminding me?” @lelebeau
