Sign-ups for the 2025 Enjoltaire Games are now live!

When you sign up you should get a confirmation message with the link to the event discord. The discord is optional, but if for some reason that doesn't happen, or it doesn't work, and you do want access please reach out.
As always, any questions please reach out, here, on discord, or at [email protected]. (I recommend email or discord first, tumblr isn't the most reliable about informing me of messages, and I wouldn't want to miss something.)
Timeline and Theme
Sign-ups begin on Monday, January 12th and last through Monday, January 26th, ending at 11:59pm Eastern time (GMT-5). Sign-ups will happen via google form, so please watch this space for that to go live.
Works are due by 11:59 PM EST (GMT-5) on Monday, April 13th. As always this is meant to be fun and low stress, so if there are any problems with finishing please just contact the mod and I will work with you to see what we can do. There will be check ins along the way to see how everyone is doing and make sure there are no issues, but if something arises please don’t feel the need to wait for a check in to talk with the mod. That’s what I'm here for.
Posting begins Monday, April 20th and runs until we run out of works. There will be no works posted on weekends, to allow readers/viewers a chance to catch up.
Reveals will happen a suitable time after the last work is posted so that all works are given some time to be seen first. No schedule, it will be decided based on how many works there are.

Theme The theme for the 2026 Les Mis Fem Fest will be DREAMS. Please feel free to interpret that however makes sense to you.

Works are now available for this year's Enjoltaire Games! (They all got posted at once because there weren't that many of them, and that way we didn't run into American Thanksgiving. Which, yes, certainly a lot of people are not American, but since your Mod is, and she has family plans, posting then might have been tricky.)

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out, either here, discord, or email ([email protected]). I recommend using tumblr as a last resort, though, because it is not always the most reliable.

Enjoltaire Games 2025
It's that time of year again! We're back for another year of love for these boys. Below is the details for this year's event, with a timeline post to follow shortly.

THEME:
This year the theme for the Enjoltaire Games will be STORMS. Please remember that you can interpret this theme in any way that suits you. Stormy weather, an emotional storm, storming a place (like a barricade…), basically any form of storms that you feel you can make work will fit this theme. Have fun with it!
TEAMS:
This year the teams will be IMPENDING and AFTERMATH. This just means that your work will need to focus on either the incoming storm or after the storm. Pretty simple. That, much like the overall theme, can be taken however you’d like. We try not to stifle anyone’s muse around here.
When you sign up for the fest you will be allowed to request which team you would prefer, but please keep in mind that the teams will need to be at least mostly even for voting purposes, so you may or may not be able to get your first choice of team. Your mod will do their best to be as accommodating as possible, though.
PROMPTS:
The prompts will be available once you have signed up for the fest. There will be a total of ten (10) each of text based, image based, and audio based prompts. Each prompt will be available to be claimed once by each team. For example, if team IMPENDING claims prompt Image 3, then one person from team AFTERMATH may still claim prompt Image 3, but no one else from team IMPENDING may have it.
These prompts are not meant to dictate your work, but simply be used as inspiration. A song could have the lyrics translate to plot, or simply have the tone color a work of art, or a scene in your story. An image could be a direct setting, or simply a painting on someone’s wall. As long as they actively inspire your work and are not an afterthought to your work.
VOTING:
Voting will be based on three criteria: How well the work fits the theme of the fest, how well the work fits the team, and how well the work incorporates the prompt. There will be no voting on talent, or how “good” a work is. That is not what this fest is about and is simply too subjective an idea anyway.
And please remember that these works are not in competition with each other. They are simply being judged for their own existence.

Your mod recommends email first as tumblr is not the most reliable system of communication and often things disappear. I wouldn’t want to miss anything.
After a week of sign ups for this event, I have come to the sad conclusion that there is simply not enough interest to hold this event this year. So FemFest will not be taking place this year. I'm very sorry to anyone who was looking forward to seeing the works, but the interest level in creating was just too low.
I'll bring this even back next year and try one more time.
