Geni's bedroom is shown only briefly and is the first time she sees her sibling again after they're kidnapped. it's actually a dream that time but that is immaterial. she only sees her sibling at places where she feels like home.

so as soon as she sees ele at Charbonneau, that place belongs to her and her family (ele and byl).
