One in a trillion.
I turn over in the comfortable bed, with completely suave black sheets. I wake up abruptly, and turn over to hug her, only to see she isn’t there. I sit up, in a brief panic, and look out at the room. Very quickly I see her, with her short ear length hair, with faint pink and blue hues, from her not bothering to get a tough up. I rub my eyes, relieved and tired, but I take a closer look at her. I can hear the sound of rain.
“Lizy? What are you doing, its--” I briefly look at the clock. “--Four AM.”
She’s staring out the window, her perfect form confined in a large t-shirt (mine) and a pair of black underwear. She has one hand on the glass, and the other at her side.
“Lizy?” I ask again.
“Don’t you find it weird?”
I’m really confused.
“Find what weird?” I sit at the edge of the bed, readying myself for another long talk.
“That... Out of all these people, in this entire city, this entire state, this entire region, this entire country, entire continent, this whole world...”
She looks at me.
“I found you.”
Tears start to fill her eyes, and I quickly run to her aid. I wrap my arms around her torso, only being as tall as her neck.
“I love you, bear...”
She hugs me back.
“I love you too, kitten...”
Pink and Blue, always.
