Hello, and welcome to the official tumblr for my fanfic, Defying Gravity, inspired by the amazing Summer Job AU by @ray-the-fae

The AU takes place Post Steven Universe: Future, but Pre Gravity Falls, with Steven arriving before the fateful Summer begins.

After feeling a strange presence upon entering the town, he discovers there's a magical barrier that is keeping him trapped inside. With very little money and no place to stay, he tries to get a job at the local tourist trap, the Mystery Shack, unaware of what magical adventures he'll run into.

This AU is much more LGBT inclusive than the original show (Rip Disney but I'm different) Including:

-Dipper is Trans!Male in this AU, and is lightly misgendered in chapters 2 and 3, as well as being Bisexual

-Mabel is Pansexual

-Wendy is a Lesbian, and will Not be dating Robbie

-Pacifica is also a Lesbian, sorry Dipcifica shippers but it's Girl Time

-Stanford is asexual and homoromantic

-Fiddleford McGucket is a closeted gay man, with a wife and son

-Stanley is also Trans!Male and bisexual, however it's not as widely touched upon

If any of these interpretations make you uncomfortable, I would suggest not reading! My intent isn't to ostracise anyone, but I understand not everyone will see these characters the same way as I do.
