My parents have said that it’s good they didn’t put rainbow colors on American soccer jerseys when I was like 7
Last year my parents said that if any of my siblings are gay then they’re “too young to know” and don’t have enough “life experience” but when my little sister was 5 years old and had a crush on a boy my mom didnt say anything like that
A couple months ago my parents said that trans people shouldn’t be in sports cuz men are “biologically stronger than women”
My parents avoided watching Steven universe for a couple years cuz it has lesbians and when we did he made it seem weird and bad that they were lesbianing
My parents think it’s completely fine to say “that’s gay” to refer to something bad as long as it’s not in public
