Just letting you know, it's "trans woman" and not "transwoman", since trans is an adjective, like how you wouldn't say "Asianwoman" or "tiredwoman". Only reason it's worth being pedantic about this is because "transwoman" is a TERF dogwhistle to avoid acknowledging trans women as women. Not always! ESL speakers sometimes use it, so it's not always a warning sign, but if the person using that word is also displaying other red flags, that's bad news bears. I hope this doesn't come off as confrontative, I promise I only mean it as a friendly FYI lol.
Oh, that makes a lot of sense about it being an adjective. I don't know why my brain never caught that. And don't worry about it seeming pedantic; I can be a pedant myself at times, and it's especially worth it if it helps trans women feel safe around me. Thanks for looking out. :)
