so i'm not the first one to say it but Alien!! because Robin had a crush on Ripley and oops Nancy kind of reminds her of her now!!

but yeah Robin being Robin would have an endless list of movies that Nancy has to watch and they totally have to watch them together now!!! and it only gets gayer and gayer lol in the process they also get gayer and gayer and often have to restart the movie because they just started making out <3

did the humor in this movie seem off? by like the second joke i was like "this feels strange" but I can't put my finger on what it was about the jokes

yeah it sucks! most of it’s racist as hell and the rest of it is just. strange and at the VERY least, it’s not the kind of humor used in literally every single other star wars movie. lbr star wars is corny and this movie just felt....i dont know all of the humor was like. putting people down, or people looking like idiots, or people getting hurt lmfao. a shitton of them didn’t even land at all, like poe’s stupid awful fucking “not what i expected” line about holdo...i don’t know what that’s even supposed to MEAN but i know it makes me uncomfortable!

and part of it too was like...ryan really was trying to do some weird dark comedy thing or somethin because he seemed to want tlj to be Sooooooo introspective and deep but at the same time he’s throwing jokes around like nobody’s business and it just. does not work!

i feel like you'd appreciate this: when i was little my mom bought me this book series about two girls who go to live with their aunt or grandma or something and the grandma or whoever ran a doll shop and could talk to dolls?? so you'd learn about the great depression or whatever historical event through the eyes of a doll's memories which was cool
