Not surprising at all that this last comic stirred up all this discourse over Adam. The stans are doing what stans do. They are protecting their problematic fav and once again ignoring the real life implications that their opinions have. To me the worst are the ones that say that they don't support abusive relationships and just enjoy dark and edgy characters. Sure Jan. You can be dark and edgy and not be an abusive fucktwaffle. Part 1

Part 2 I would put money on this that if you go to their blogs, you'd see plenty of content that either sexualizes said fucktwaffle or hypermasculates them. The worst is when this is women. And this is what drives me up the wall because while they may not realize it or accept it, they are a willing participant in keeping toxic masculinity alive in fantasy as well as reality.

I have to say that in light of the recent events that happened at SDCC I almost wanted to give up reading any SG fanfics. But then I remembered that the stories that you and others have created are so far removed from where the show is now and all about the these characters as we would like to view them. They are beautiful, intriguing, moving and inspiring. I hope the events of the past couple of days don't stop you from sharing your amazing talent with us.

I’m not going anywhere. The more they laugh at the very idea of their characters being gay, the more aggressively I’ll write them as the gayest, bi-est, queerest women on the planet.

Non-OUAT related question. I listen to a liberal radio station and even though I enjoy their programming, they do have a very negative stance about HRC and what happened with Bernie Sanders and I wanted to look into it myself. I was interested if you had any insight as to reading material I could look at and perhaps what you own opinion is on this. Feel free to respond privately if you chose.

I can’t send you any particular reading material.  There is a lot out there.

I used to like and admire Bernie.  I think he’s lost himself in arrogance and a god complex brought about by people worshiping the ground he walks on.  I think the moment I lost faith in him was when he was being interviewed by the editorial board of a New York newspaper for possible endorsement and couldn’t even articulate the details of his own economic policy.  And then there were the disabilities rights advocate who detailed how she was treated while a friend and ally of the Sanders campaign in contrast with how she was later treated by the Clinton campaign.  I think Bernie did huge damage to our country by continuing to go after Hillary even after it was clear he’d lost and she would be facing Trump.  I think he did next to nothing to reign in the destructive forces of his followers.  And I think he’s whining about being screwed by the democratic party when he’s not a member of it now and was only a member of it long enough to get it’s nomination.  You can’t expect party loyalty when you are blatantly using the party for your own goals and advancement.

I hate Bernie Sanders and he needs to sit down and do his job for the people of Vermont and stay out of democratic national politics now that he’s ended his brief membership of the party.

These people don't change. They have been pandered to (which is ironic considering they tend to call any movement towards the Bees pandering) their whole lives and just don't get it when a show breaks away from formula of prioritizing the white cishet male character over female characters. Especially when those female characters are the leads and (insert white cishet male character here) is a supporting character. Part 1

Part 2 - We're ecstatic over the recent developments and these snowflakes can't handle it. CRWBY could have given more time to Adam's development, but why? He's not the focus of the story, it's Blake's. And guess what? Yang is a big part of it, so their stories intersect. It's not that complicated. Oh well, they're just going to continue to say CRWBY is pandering to the wasps, throw hissy fits over the treatment of their problematic fav(s) and be mad that the gays are getting goodies.

I would also like to point out to your anons that throwing in your LGBTQ+ street creds (i.e. list the other ships you support) does little to nothing if you use homophobic language to support your arguments.
