ugh I'm in a shit situation rn where im not sure if I have a crush on my friend or it's just like a platonic thing ?? like I wanna hang out w her a lot and I'm physical w her even though i can be uncomfortable about touching people but that's like the same exact way I feel when I wanna be friends w someone ? and it's gets worse bc she is dating one of my good friends but she and I have a running joke where our friends say we're a couple bc were so physical but im pretty sure she's straight

Well, I'd say that regardless of anything else, it should definitely stay platonic as long as she's in a relationship with someone else. Y'know what I mean? It's not really fair to anyone (including yourself) to put the situation through the meat grinder if things become less platonic somehow.

I mean, keep the crush if you have a crush. Those suck for you but they're harmless to situations even if the other person is in a relationship (I mean, I maintained a crush on this one guy all through high school and he was always in a relationship... he added me on facebook the other day and I was like??? NOW?! Anyway-). Just make sure you remember the invisible 'off-limits' sign that's hovering between you because things get messy when lines like that are crossed.

If nothing else, you definitely have a very close friend. Those are always good to have around. Always.

Also people are really weird and confusing about calling super close friends 'couples'. I don't know what the fuck it is with this world but you apparently can't be close with another person without everyone automatically either assuming you're together, or making jokes about you being a couple. So try not to let that get to you.
