It was discovered in the year 1986 that supernatural beings existed. These beings lived in secret, creating their own organizations that have thrived for centuries without humans noticing. It was leaked after taking a large wolf into animal control, who, by video surveillance, morphed from this wolf into a human form, tearing down the bars and running away. This discovery was kept secret by the Japanese government, and now, an elite group of scientists were brought together to discover as much as possible on these beings. For the past twenty-eight years, the techniques that have been used to test the subjects brought in have increased to produce more success. In order to fully understand these creatures, every test needs to be taken. Those that have expired continue to prove useful through various dissections.

Sagara Sanosuke, age twenty, is an up and coming scientist. He was recommended to be put on the project at the age of sixteen, and since then, the government has made multiple breakthroughs with his work. It was through his interviews and tests he discovered new species that have been in hiding, and with new subjects being brought in almost once a week, he knew soon, they would have all the answers needed to fully understand these strange and unusual races.

During one of several tests with a creature commonly known as a vampire, Sano was brought to the attention of a particular being that was demonic and its domain was in the sky. Determined to have a subject from this, he felt as though if they could harness the power and abilities that one has, it can help with aerial surveillance and perhaps with aerial attacks if the country was ever in war again.

Two weeks after, a test subject was brought in from the species he had found out about from the vampire, but was unable to perform any experiments on it until three weeks after the creature was brought in. Known as Test Subject Number 427, this subject eluded Sano until he received a promotion, which allowed him to study Number 427’s behavior. Reading over the case file the evening he was to start behavioral tests, he was planning on merely observing for the night, then perhaps later on in the week, determine its intelligence. Clipboard, pen, and case file in hand, donning a white lab coat on, he enters the room where the subject was being kept in isolation. He wasn’t sure what he would be interacting with, but he would soon find out.
