Remembering Les McKeown, the late Bay City Roller's frontman who was born on this day in 1955.

He was a great singer and would entertain the audience during his rise of fame. He would have been 70 if he was still here today with us.

Les was also a sweet and great performer on stage when it comes to singing the Bay City Roller's most popular songs.

"You will be in everyone's heart including mine, Les and as well as this happy heavenly birthday!

Hope you and Alan along with Ian have a joyful day in the sky.

Here’s the frontman of the Bay City Rollers wearing his famous blue and white outfit during the rise of Rollermania.

His outfit was only used in the Top of the Pops concerts, Shang-a-Lang (TV Show) and photographs throughout the band’s popularity in the mid 70’s.

Note: The Blue and White outfit wasn't used in other concerts back in late 1975 till the time when Rollermania disappeared in late 1977.

Looks like Alan and Les are figuring out a way to help their friend Woody to sign off the first episode of their very own TV show Shang-A-Lang.

To end 2024. I made a collage art of my favorite member of the Bay City Rollers. Even though he’s no longer with us, will remember his legacy for being the frontman who helped the band gained popularity in the mid 70’s.
