LA, Milan and Toronto!

Los Angeles: What would you change about yourself? I want to be less stubborn, like if someone tells me to do something it makes me less likely to do it even if I was intending to do it, ...which is not a good trait lol.

Milan: How do you think others describe you? I have no idea tbh?! Probably as someone who is loud and smiling a lot? I think about this a lot actually because I am pretty sure that what I think I am like is very different than the perception that others have of me like I think there is a disconnect somewhere. 

Toronto: Describe your ideal partner. Someone who is just as multifaceted as myself, someone who sees the best in everyone they meet and who is not ill-willed or ill-tempered. someone who understands that I need time to myself and that that doesn’t mean that I don’t care? someone who doesn’t make me feel emotionally unstable? and someone who trusts me? who I can trust too? whoever is best for me I guess? whoever is written for me?

1. I like the way I pay attention to detail, I never do anything half-heartedly. Whether it has to do with baking, or giving someone a gift, or putting together an outfit. 

2. I  like being a good friend. I like nurturing people, I like listening and I like being there for people to lean on. I like making connections with people. 

3. I like my eyes. They aren't too big or too small, they are brown and I used to hate that. But now I embrace their color. 

4. I like that I always give people the benefit of the doubt. I always try to see the best in people, and while sometimes this is naive of me I wouldn't want to change it. I would hate to go through this world always assuming the worst of people. 

5. I like that I can teach myself new things. I taught myself how to bake, paint, and apply henna, among other things.

So Aaleen tagged me in a thing to list ten random facts about myself, so here we go!

1) I love being out in nature. I would spend so much time like that if I could, but I don't know anyone who loves it like I do so I can't. 2) My dogs are my reason to be alive, and I truly don't know what I'd do without them. 3) I really love Star Trek, don't know if you could tell. 4) I get really excited when I see hijabi's anywhere. Hijabi's coming into my store, SO EXCITED TO SERVE THEM. Hijabi's on TV, SCREAMS AT TV, LOOK IT'S A HIJABI. I'm sure that's a little strange, but I love to see you girls representing. 5) I have a geologic time scale taped onto my wall. 6) I got a poem published in our university's arts publication, and it's basically about Lucy, and I gave her a handwritten copy before it "came out" and all she could manage to say was "gosh", but I really would love to know like a thought out explanation of what she thinks. But I am way to chicken to talk to her about it so oh well. 7) I'm pretty sure all the places I would really love to go have volcanoes (and that's why I want to go there). 8) We have multiple snakes living around my house and I love seeing them. 9) Sometimes I feel like not existing, but if I'm lucky something will just breathe life into me, like the look of the sunset, or helping a bee get outside, and it helps me make it through the day. 10) I would really love to move to Newfoundland, even though my Dad thinks I wouldn't like it there.
