"Woah!” Charlie saw it a moment before it happened and grabbed the blonde next to her, yanking her back as the giant and rather creepy Santa statue came unbalanced from the newly assembled store display. It crashed to the ground a few feet from them, helped along a bit by a push from Charlie, but hopefully the change in its trajectory wasn’t too noticeable to those around her. “Geez, death by Santa. They sure start decorating early,” she grimaced slightly. The holidays weren’t exactly a pleasant time of year for her, mostly just a constant reminder of her loneliness. Though it did come with a lot of good food, so there was a bit of an upside. “You okay?” she found herself looking up as smiled at the woman, hoping she hadn’t squeezed her arm too hard, an unusual experience for a girl already a little on the tall side herself.
