Quick data point for parents interested in less candy holidays:
This year, Al got a basket with stickers, bubbles, a (cheap, Dora the Explorer) kite, and a stuffed Hello Kitty bunny.
We were lucky because a friend gave her a Laloopsy house for Christmas, so I bought two mini dolls for that dollhouse, which both come with teeny tiny accessories, and filled up 6 eggs with that extra toy present.
Then she found 2 eggs with 4 quarters each, 5 eggs with bunny grahams, and 5 eggs with fruit gummy snacks. Not a totally sugar free Easter, but one I feel ok about, and a fun egg hunt and egg opening "party."
