i have a tattoo appointment right after my tour date and want to ask them to write something for me during my m&g, do you have any quote or tweet recs?

oh man this is a good question but i'm blanking lol. honestly if i had to pick something i'd have them write "gay" or "phan" or something lmao. i like shorter word/sentence tattoos and i'm struggling to come up with anything meaningful and dnp related that's short. and also i would rather die than tattoo "phan" onto my body so idk what i'm talking about tbh

I've let this sit in my inbox for a while because I wanted to wait until I had the spoons to write a more thorough answer but it's looking like that will be a while- so I'll say that some posts in my resources tag address that, and i recently found two other pages from the web accessibility initiative that may be helpful: complex images, alt text decision tree

i have an incomplete drafted post about how i write image IDs that will mention some more phandom specific stuff (for example if i don't know the year a photo is from i'll describe their hairstyles or which apartment they're in to give people some perspective on the general era it's from) but i'm not sure when that will be coming

if anyone has other advice feel free to add on!

would it be any more sustainable for you to run a small merch store? you could stock prints and stickers and maybe pins or whatever but wouldn't have to pay travel to art shows. plus it doesnt technically have to constantly be in stock, it could be made to order whatever. i know this is also pretty difficult to do as someone who wants to do so myself but!! idk just wanted to suggest it on the off chance u hadnt thought of it
