Lest calmly walked through the abandoned mines that ran throughout the fissures. These ones had long been depleted of anything Piltover was interested in but that didn't mean they were completely spent. There were still minerals here that had use. Calcium, Bismuth, Selenium. All useless to the industry of Piltover but invaluable for treating the many ailments common in Zaun. Not the mention the many varieties of mushroom and fungus that grew down here. Many rich in Phosphorus, Magnesium and Iron. In short these mines were a treasure trove if one knew what to look for.
That didn't mean it wasn't dangerous however since there was always the risk of toxic gases and cave-ins. But the risk was worth it in Lest's mind since she would be set for nearly a year with this single trip.
A risk she hadn't anticipated however came when she accidently cut her thumb while scrapping some moss of the wall. She cursed softly and began to tend it but a few drops was still hit the ground. The cut wasn't bad enough to cause her to leave but she would have to do more than just bandage it later since a bit of blood had seeped through the wrapping she'd put on it.
