They couldn’t possibly be sleeping in the cells otherwise. Or maybe John was interested in a bed because he was forced to stay at the Yard to await a phone call while his flatmate was out deducing things. Gave the doctor some time to bond with the detective inspector then, thank God, he was at least one of the more normal blokes he had met since Sherlock.

A girl with soft dirty blonde hair was standing outside on the curb of the road. Black umbrella raised above her. It had been a rather rainy day. Her eyes looked glossy, glass like even. She had been standing there for almost two hours now. 

She was standing outside of the building that Gregg Lestrade’s flat resided in. How did she know this? Well, Moriarty’s can find out just about anything. Lena’s headphones were drowning out the sound of the rain. Perhaps she was waiting.

it’s time to go

her  arms  were  folded  tightly  and  a  shake  of  her  head. no  ,  she  wasn’t  going  to  move  at  all.  a  fight  with  her  father  had  left  her  at  lestrade’s. nope  ,  she  wasn’t  going  back  to  221b  ,  she  was  going  to  let  her  dad  come  to  her  with  an  apology.  a  stubborn  streak.

“nope  ,  as  i  said  to  you  before  ,  i  will  not  be  going.” she  spoke  ,  eyes  rolling  at  the  other  as  she  sucked  in  a  deep  breath.”you  WILL  have  to  kick  me  out  ,  drag  me  home  because  i  will  not  be  moving  ,  greg.”
