Admittedly , she's less familiar with Halovian than the other species she's met over the years . It was incredibly uncommon to see even a Foxian on her home planet , and though she's spent a fair amount of time traveling for her research since then , this marked her first interaction with one .

Not entirely surprising . She's quite the hermit , after all .
