It’s quiet in his private corner of the dropship, most other legends off bickering and torturing one another as they often did. Like a family- her family, all except the hacker, who preferred to remain alone, in isolation, even when people could be in the same room it seemed. She knew that feeling well at times, so close to others yet so distant. Some people like them were just different- enjoying the silence as means of peace. Something she found comfort in when around him, just knowing he was there was enough to put her at ease, words never really needed to fill the space between them.
Though she couldn’t help but tease him from time to time, just to see him smile when she could. A part of her had feeling they’d be on opposing teams, which is why she savored the calm before the storm. Carefully she leaned against the desk where he worked, taking a glimpse at Hack, watching the way he worked over the little bot with bright, curious eyes.
“You know, I wish he wasn’t so cute- it would make me feel less guilty shooting him.” Arms crossed against her chest, a foot swinging idly as she propped herself up onto his desk, just enough to not touch the ground. “To think someone so small could make my life a living hell out there. All of my gear short circuiting to such a little thing...” She smiled then, briefly. “A part of me wishes for that reason we would be on the same side more often, your drone and my storm work well together... Do you think we will be working together this time...?” // @enccrypted sc.
