Today, Israeli Army Radio announced new plans to occupy Gaza City.
For us, this means the nightmare of displacement might begin again — our tenth time being forced to flee. Each time we lose the little we try to rebuild: shelter, food, memories, stability.
The shadow of war follows us everywhere, and the thought of packing up once more, leaving behind even our fragile tent, is unbearable.
Imagine restarting your life not once, not twice, but ten times — with nothing left but exhaustion, fear, and the hope that maybe, just maybe, the world will care.

🌪️ Defying Forced Displacement: A Father's Plea for Hope
“We didn’t choose to leave our home. We were forced to.”
Hello, kind souls of Tumblr.
My name is a father of four ambitious children. I carry the weight of a displaced family, a sick father, an elderly mother, a devoted wife, and my own battle with epilepsy and increased brain activity. Life has not been kind—but I still believe in kindness.
We were forcibly displaced, stripped of our home, our stability, and our dignity.
Now, we live in uncertainty. No steady income. No safe shelter. No access to proper medical care.
My children dream of a future, but I struggle to provide even the basics.

In the streets of Gaza today, a man walked, burdened with the weight of the world. When asked how he was, he broke down: "My only daughter, 8 years old, keeps telling me, ‘Dad, I want to eat and feel full.’ And I can’t even bring her a loaf of bread." The flour has run out in his home, like most homes in Gaza. A child now knows the difference between eating… and eating enough. This is the fate of our little ones, and the helplessness of their grieving fathers.
Because of the suffocating blockade and the closure of border crossings, flour has vanished. Families are forced to grind lentils, rice, and pasta to make makeshift bread — just to keep their children from starving.
A desperate attempt to survive in a besieged city while the world looks away.
