Hi all,
If anybody sees this I want to say a massive thank you for having stuck around this long, I wouldn't blame anyone for having jumped ship by now.
As you're all aware I haven't been active with LD in nearly a year. I've had a lot of good intentions that have all fallen through no matter how much I have honestly wanted to carry on with Lethal Dose.
Lethal Dose is definitely a project I want to finish. I think about it a lot and I feel terrible about leaving you all in the dark for so long without an official send off.
Life has changed a lot in this last year. As well as starting a new relationship and moving into a new city and a new career I've opened an Etsy shop for the first time and started doing commissions as an extra way to make some money.
I love doing commissions and I love working on my comic but everything is just so time consuming there's never time to do both and obviously I have to prioritise payed work.
I'm not trying to make up excuses or justify my tardiness but I thought you were all owed at least this much.
So I want to say a big sorry and giant thank you at the same time. You all have been constantly supportive of my work and honestly it seems crazy to me that It's been this long as I always intend to finish my work.I guess it's hard for me to accept that I won't be working on LD 'seriously' for a long while...(crazy that I'm only just getting that since it's been a year..get with the program Lauren).
I feel really sad to have to give this message.Hopefully I can sort things out in the future and manage time better.
Either way, I love you all and again i'm so grateful to have had you.
Hopefully I will see you around, when we can all join Bobby and the gang in the future when they get their shit together too.
I miss working for you guys and with everyone in the comic.
