I know a lot of people don't but I actually really like Hyewon's rapping. It's really soft and elegant and I think it fits Iz*one's concepts really well in a way that I can't imagine for any other rapper. (Not exactly what you asked for but I also like how we get to see her grow as an idol. Through Hyewon being a part of Iz*one we see what attracted people to AKB48, an idol that we can watch grow and improve from basically ground up.)
i actually like hyewons voice too! i wish she was allowed to sing more and i think her dictation for rapping is actually pretty good. imo, the main thing abt rapping for groups without ‘actual’ rappers is that they have good charisma/stage presence. so i think when hyewon gets more comfortable on stage it’ll happen, and i’m excited for it!
