"Care to explain why dear Mr. Pevensie is all up in my business since the spring?"

Leticia always speaks with the utmost respect to Zander and the council, friendly and happy to be doing her best work for them. She does not have the speak respectfully about the the little twerp encroaching on her responsibilities, taking her leads in other cities and pushing this whole "fixing Godscobh's commerce" project that's none of his business.

"The younger one. The one who isn't even a full time employee."

"Please tell me this isn't what it looks like."

Leticia stormed - no, stomped - into Adam's office doing her best attempt at not sounding judgmental and failing. Though not mad as Adam on a personal level, she was silently begging for anything but honesty when she showed Adam the pictures.

The shots of him leaving Nauticus with disheveled hair in the wee hours of mornings were suggestive at best. The ones of him being being pulled inside by a hook? Even worse.

"You want me to... talk to kids?"

Leticia didn't hate kids or anything, she liked her own little siblings well enough. But this whole mentor-career-trade-teaching thing Frell had cooked up sounded like a whole lot of work to do outside of Leticia's already-intense job.

"I don't even have a degree, don't you want someone who's been to college?" She figured that actually had very little to do with it. She was just making up reasons to turn them down.

Though the whole of Godscobh might've been struggling for the past few weeks, Leticia was arguably thriving. These were the times when her role in crisis management was the most crucial, with the ports essentially shut down due to the investigation into Nauticus. She was busy, and she certainly liked it that way!

It was obvious to most that this was a natural course of events ever since Hades had made more allowances for his good buddy Hook. Zander wouldn't be having any of that, and Leticia was simply an extension of the power to keep the town strong in the face of strain.

Oh, this was going to be fun!

"Heeeeey, bossman," Leticia tried to keep her pep under wraps, cool as a cucumber when under immense pressure, "What do we think about getting a few contingency plans for the school lunch supplies, take a helping hand from the next city over?"

Leticia did not like new faces around city hall, especially when they were not the democratically elected figures she was used to. Hypocritical? Maybe, considering Leticia was someone who'd worked herself to the bone rising up the ranks the normal way.

That was exactly the problem with Edmund, though. Leticia highly suspected he wouldn't be anywhere near city hall if he wasn't riding Peter's coattails.

"I can do it myself, I do this every day!" That was a bit of an exaggeration, but Leticia was not about to let Edmund take over the newest PR campaign to cover the drama down at Nauticus, "This is too large-scale for you."

Location and Time: 9 pm, the threshold of an apartment, knocking to be let out of the hailstorm. with @acommonfairy

Leticia had walked into the threshold of her apartment moments earlier, throwing her work bag onto her counter and shaking off her raincoat. She would've loved to just throw herself onto the couch afterwards, but the doorbell started ringing like crazy! Did she order food and forget about it?

"Tin?" Leticia opened the door to find the blonde completely soaked. She beckoned Tinley in quickly, though few coin-sized balls of ice ended up getting in too, bouncing and melting on the hardwood floors.

"What were you doing on this side of town? You look like a mess!" It sounds mean, but Leticia's intentions are caring, "Here, I'll get you a blanket."

Leticia almost never got time off work. She was practically living at her office some weekends, and found herself pulling a few all-nighters a month to get new copy written for the various city publications. For another difficult weekend, Leticia needed the largest size of black coffee - stat.

As she waited for her coffee, Leticia was quickly tapping away on her phone. She only looked up when a tall, statuesque woman came to stand next to her, making Leticia's lip curl.

"Nice shoes," she commented, noticing the perfect poise of her former colleague, "Headed somewhere nice?"

Leticia gritted her teeth a little, still looking at her phone but starting to glare.

Despite having a job working with the public, Leticia didn't always like meeting the public personally. It was scary, in fact, to have that much pressure on her shoulders and be the face of the town when reporters wanted questions answered. That said, her work was not the scariest thing in Godscobh.

She always felt a shiver when visiting the drug rehabilitation center on the outskirts of Fable's End. She didn't look down on any of the people staying there, of course, but it caused a strange dissonance in her daily life to see people living so vastly different from her and the rest of city hall.

"The patient in room 201 is requesting more blankets, is there... somewhere I should grab those from?" And was she even allowed to grab them? Leticia was just here as a representative of the city, not a caretaker.
