McCoy looked up when he heard the medbay door swish open. "Can I help you, Ensign?"
In Times of Stress || letmedo-zat
Nyota was grumpy. Not in a going-to-bite-your-head-off way, but an overly-stressed-and-annoyed way. Sometimes she felt like a glorified babysitter, and that tended to piss her off. It didn't help that she wasn't sleeping well, but that was another matter. So, the dark haired woman let out an annoyed breath before she found one Pavel Chekov. She almost immediately draped her arm around him and rested her forehead against his shoulder--damn kid was still taller than her.
letmedo-zat replied to your post: //wake up and there’s two more of you buggers. I... shush be quiet you’re wonderful
Oh you're sweet. Let me love you, k?
@letmedo-zat
"Hi," Scarlett greeted. She held out her hand for Chekov to shake. "Ensign Heavens, science officer."
Child, open up your inbox omg, Kirk and I wanna talk to you. >:C
Also… can I just… can I just cuddle all the Pashas? Please? I wanna love on every Chekov ever and so does Kirk. Pasha is his bb. He just wants to love on him and spoil him and cuddle him. It’s a real problem yo.
A Landing Party
The dark green leaves and bright blue sky came into focus slowly as Aella and five other crewmen were beamed down to the planet. She stepped forward absently, not even realizing she was moving. The report on the planet she had read was sparing, but correct; lucious, full of life. She smiled as she turned slowly, looking at bright, graceful clouds, at the pockets of red and yellow and orange flowers within a tangle of green leaves and vines.
Aella heard the captain talking, splitting the landing party into pairs. Aella felt her heart sink as she realized the landing party was even, and she would be forced into a pair. They were searching for some sort of energy source, some entity. Aella could do that completely fine on her own, without the glares of an ensign or lieutenant at her back.
However, she was assigned a boy she recognized as the navigator, though she couldn't remember his name. She tried not to take it personally that the captain didn't even know her name. She would be surprised if anyone remembered her as someone other than 'that odd girl'.
Aella walked away from the navigator without speaking. He'd probably snub her or dislike her, though currently she felt no hostile feelings from him. She heard a few snickers from the other crewmen, and even heard one call, "Good luck, Chekov!" before they disappeared on separate paths.
Aella took her phaser off her magnetic holster and set it to stun, then walked between the cover of two leaves, glancing behind her to see if he was following.
