Ew, why were there so many damn people approaching him? He'd either have to make a hasty retreat (since he feared one of them might be a cop), or lurk in the shadows and wait for his time to strike. He was a thief, and so he'd have to live up to his name and try his best at getting something good. So he'd do the latter, waiting for a perfect moment to strike his hopefully unsuspecting targets!
