Dash had reached out to him. He’d called and left voicemails, a few last night. He was sure he was reaching out because of Michael. Dash had been in his life when that had happened, he had known him. It wasn’t something Cade was really ready to discuss, he had gotten fairly drunk over the last couple days. So he wasn’t sure he wanted to talk about it. He was actually actively avoiding both Connor and Dash, the only two people that really knew all the details. Well and probably Gray at this point, Cade was a bit fuzzy on those details.
Rubbing his fingers over coffee cup he had gotten, he was sitting outside the small coffee shop at the Ellison Shopping Complex. The coffee shop was one of his favorite locations, because less people came up here during the afternoon. Resting against the chair, he glanced up just in time to see Dash approaching, appropriate timing based on his thoughts, Cade said in his mind. He had his pill bottle table alongside his cup of coffee. His crutches laying against the chair by the table. His broken leg sticking out slightly, he nodded, “Hey.” He said in greeting, not really wanting to address that he’d been avoiding Dash’s messages last night.
