Hard to describe all the things that happened during the last 7 days. It’s almost like if a month had gone to me! Looking back at it I can only smile at our first rainy and tough days on the bike, where we were soaking wet, shivering of cold and barely able to feel our feet and hands any more. I felt uncomfortable on a terrain I was not used to, scared with taking too much speed, falling, sliding on these wet rocks and roots and muddy sections. It was almost like a relieve when we finally got the sun towards the end. The downhills were fun, the single tracks not too technical and by that time I was slowly more at my ease with the speed. The icing on the cake was when we got to the old harbor of Marseille to embark on the sailing boat for the traverse thru Corsica. Those 36 hours of sailing were magical with the lights, the Dolphins and even a rorqual commun. We have now reach the Bavella peaks where we are hoping to climb some very nice lines as soon as the weather will be stable. Huge thanks to the kind people who had us to stay at their places along our ride, to Seb and Christian our great skippers for the amazing sail and of course thanks to @marc_daviet for being with to document our journey and to my wonderful girlfriend @leedeslandes for all the good advices on the bike and for her always positive attitude. #LivandLeaFullOn #LetsDoItYourWay #TimeToPlay #SeaToSummit #SalomonWMN #ProtectWhatYouLove #Haibiker #WeAreEPerformance #Petzlgram #BoscheBike (à Les Aiguilles de Bavella) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx4v1rDpAS7/?igshid=ckrledwgzlxx
