Hi.

My Name is Shea 

I am a licensed cosmetologist and self taught make up artist( i should’ve went to esthetician school instead) who happens to love all things art. I am also a college student studying sociology with a focus in social work and counseling. 

I strive to put God first in everything i do but I’m human and God aint through with me yet.

I am a carefree black girl who hasn’t always been this way and still cares a little too much from time to time. Early on in life i struggled with confidence and self love. i never felt adequate or like i was good enough as if there would always be someone better than me in not only my eyes but everyone else’s as well. i battled with depression and social anxiety as well. It’s kind of a self diagnosis and its been a long time coming but it gets better every day although i still have my moments. My Childhood was riddled with pain and confusion, my family life was never ideal or perfect but at the end of the day i had family, i was blessed and for that i am forever thankful. It took a while for me to apply myself and realize what i could do with the power of prayer, hard work, determination and living in the light that God has placed inside of me. I took control of my life in my early twenties and finally decided to stop letting my past, my crazy childhood and the past of others determine who i was and dictate and manipulate my life. “”For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and future”, says the lord” Jeremiah 29:11. I am now beginning my journey to follow through with the plans of good hope that God has prepared for my future and i simply cannot wait to see the places i’ll go.

I invite you to take this journey with me through the ups and downs, the highs and lows, the good hair days and the don king days, the days i slay and the days i look cray. Watch me grow, help me grow, grow with me.
