Ā Ā Speaking her language. There has been a slew of strange deaths, ruled suicides by different police departments, of young women who were last seen out at this club. Normally not something that ends up on Elektraās radar, except she had met one of them. Just received a scholarship for her Masterās at Columbia and couldnāt stop yammering about it. Seeing her face in the Bulletin a few days later was a shock. Something didnāt feel right.
Ā Ā Articles in different papers all sing the same tune; family and friends never saw it coming, bright futures, otherwise happy dispositions. Thereās no pattern in the method except for one thing; derogatory, self-deprecating scribblings on the walls and a few broken mirrors. No bite marks, no blood drained, no signs of struggle. At least not reported.
Ā Ā She doesnāt know if itās supernatural or a serial killing freak, but someone or something is using this place to hunt. And thereās a guy down below wearing a slick smile and a suit thatās a little too stuffy, making rounds until he reels in a girl with one too many drinks in her. Practiced. Bartender says heās been in every night a girlās wound up dead.
Ā Ā Elektraās eyes are dangerously dark on him and sheās slow to look at Faith when she asks about fucking him up, watching the pair go for the door. Thereās something scary in the lightness of her response, the tilt of her head their way, like sheās already strung him up. āLetās go.ā

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Truth is, Faith doesn't really know what's going on, here. She knows she's not used to Elektra giving an ass rat who lives or dies in this city, but then... she's always been sure that's a lot of buffalo pucky to protect her tender, baby reputation.
Itās gotta be bad if Ellieās even talking to her about this shit. She does what she wants, Faith knows that. Their morals donāt exactly line up but she doesnāt always think Elektra is wrong, either.
Faith's leaning against the closest solid surface, lighting a cheap-ass cigarette with an honest-to-goodness hotel match and what she's leaning against is also sporting a No Smoking sign hanging just over her head. Hell does she care? She's a damn Avenger, who's gonna say boo about it?
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā When Elektra starts off, Faith gets her by the elbow and gives her an honest to God 'momma' look, "Hey. We find out if he's human first. Not gonna do this dance with you. I can't, you know that." that being said, and Faith's face screams the next part even if she's lowering her voice, glancing at the door, "Can't stop you, you wanna track his ass down when I'm not around."
