Oh shh, I didn't know you were following me. Oh yes.. *happy dance to get down with ya bad self*
DOWN WITCHA!...
Why can't you and your ex still hang out?
Because we didn't leave off on good terms. We were together for two years but we had a messy relationship and an even messier break up. He hurt me, I took him back, he hurt me again, I left him, he didn't chase after me, I am left heartbroken. Bla bla blah. Typical bullshit story. We made plans to see each-other but I haven't worked up the nerve to follow through with them because I'm too afraid to get lost in my emotions again.
☺
I watched the tumblr famous and I fell off my bed laughing, thanks to you, I have a bruise on my thigh. Thanks lol
aww =) aowww sorry THIGH lmao
Neither have I, my mom prays and sets out the food and stuff with the incense though. I would love it if you'd ask your parents for me, my parents are always on edge and busy and stressed out, I think it'll be good for them and me. I definitely need to get grounded in my life nowadays.
I actually have two tables dedicated to prayer in my house! I use to love burning those incense when I was younger but I would always get scolded by my parents because they weren't for "playing." Hahaha. And I definitely will when my parents get back. :) I think they might have left for California just now so I won't be seeing them for a couple of days. WOO, HOUSE PARTY. No just kidding. /foreveralone
Really? That sounds awesome :) My parents are too, but we've never had a monk stay with us.. I wonder if I could change that. So they come and stay pray with you throughout the week? Anything special happens?
You should ask your parents about it! I'm not too certain about how the whole arrangement gets settled though .. I could ask my parents for you if you think yours will be interested.
And to be quite frank, I am also not too sure about what "happens" when they're staying with us because I never really cared for Buddhism while growing up so I always shook-off the fact that there is a legitimate monk staying at my my house. I just know it really helps my parents become more humble and releases a lot of stress in their daily life. I love the idea of Buddhism but still haven't fully converted to it.
Why is the monk staying with you?
It's adopt-a-monk-week. Duh.
No, just kidding. My parents are actually Buddhist and they sometimes have a monk fly in to stay with us so they can further their journey to enlightenment. They usually drive out to California and visit temples together and whatnot. :)
