We’ve been talking about the letter G! Henry is really catching on that G can make different sounds and deciding whether things sound more like “giraffe” or “gorilla.” . Here’s what we did yesterday: We started with a favorite Giraffes Can’t Dance then 1. turned capital G into a giraffe and 2. lowercase g into a bunch of grapes. . 3. Letter G mazes . 4. The favorite: we read goodnight gorilla then tried to make a bed for the animals, thanks to @preschoolsteam for the inspiration! M was measuring the animals and then H got so into building that he had to get his “toolbox.” This activity occupied them WAY longer than I had anticipated! . 5. @royalbaloo cutting practice: G is for garbage truck! Their cutting skills are improving SO much with practice from this zooming around the alphabet set! . 6. I got these seek n find alphabet pages from @orientaltrading that we tried for the first time. They loved them. The picture seeking part is not much of a “seek” — super obvious — but they still liked “finding” things and M liked tracing the words. We did letters A-G because that’s all I set out but they would’ve happily kept going! I was also happy with how easily they wiped clean to reuse. . . #preschoolathome #letterg #lettergactivities #preschoolliteracy #giraffescantdance #goodnightgorilla https://www.instagram.com/p/CAg1-lglKmv/?igshid=pmzfbt75jw6v
