“I, Dio, refuse to be the marriage counselor for one fool pining after a rainbow milf when I have my own on speed dial.”

“Celestia, I demand the pleasure of your company. And perhaps a few healthy bodies you can lure in. I’m feeling peckish.”

Lyra was lost in thought as she wandered around the stalls of the Vytal festival. Normally she’d be so wrapped up in this cultural exchange of Remnant that she’d be talking someone’s ear off, but it seemed at this moment there was nobody to talk with. Breeze and Tarin were off training for their doubles match and Cyan had left to find some old friends from Mistral, leaving the young Warden-in-training completely on her own.
“Thanks guys. Definitely a great idea, leaving me alone in a massive crowd of people.” She mumbled to herself, pausing at an intersection of food vendors and trinket sellers. Light glinted off of some small necklace, making Lyra turn her head, but then she froze. Ahead of her, looking over the menus of several stalls, was someone that put the sun itself to shame.
Her eyes went wide as she watched the woman, no, goddess before her. It wasn’t just her beauty that was frying Lyra’s brain, it was simply her presence. The confidence, the gravitas, the way she stood was enough to convey that she was someone who commanded respect and admiration. While Lyra’s brain was fried, her feet certainly weren’t as they started carrying her towards the woman. Something, some instinct, was pulling Lyra towards her, as if the hands of fate shoving were her pushing her along themselves.

The statue was a thing of beauty. He could not place his finger on exactly why. By all accounts, it was nothing special. A depiction of a horse, made out of some sort of faux-marble. The location leaved little to be desired as well. Some school for commoners, molding children into productive members of society. Much had changed in his century of slumber, and public education was no different, but that was besides the point.
When Enrico had told him about the statue’s curious nature, Dio had scoffed. But the more his dear friend had described it, the more uneasy the vampire became. And now that he stood in the presence of it, he found that he understood what Pucci meant.
Stand users were drawn to other Stand users. It was an inescapable magnetism. This statue was similar, like it... No, dash that. This statue was not like a Stand. It was akin to something else. Its ominous presence reminded him of that mask made out of stone. For all he knew, they could have been carved from the same block.
Why though? What was its purpose? What drew him, Dio, here?

“ Ah, Celestia! You made it! Hehe, it seems each time you arrive here, everything tends to gets a bit brighter. ” Selene beams up at the white alicorn with a wide smile, quick to trot up to her side. She may seem to be getting a bit over-excited, but visits from her multi-dimensional sister tended to do that. Especially one that isn’t, oh , you know- corrupted, evil, and trying to destroy everything.
“ Surely this time, you came to spend time with me, right? ” She prodded, eyes shining up at the other as if she was far more younger than she was, “ I know you tend to fancy Sombra’s company more- ”
