Contrary to

popular belief. I have not been in love. Perhaps I’ve been close, but not quite. I’ve heard that when it happens they are the only person you really see. That no matter how far you are away from each other you feel them in your bones. And something in me feels that it could happen someday and all I really want apart from the feeling is for words to drip onto a page spilled from the deepest parts of a heart telling me that love is not just this or that but so much more.  It’s far-reaching into the soul of a being where not even the moon and the stars could capture the mystery of highest high and brightest lights  and a million forevers past or present or future. I can’t, he’ll say, put it all into words, but I’ll spend the rest of my life showing you that being in love is us.
