Letting go...what does it really mean?
It doesn't mean ignore it until it resurfaces again. I seem to do that a lot in my life. With everything that causes me great distress. I shelve it, to sort of catch my breath. Almost like a defense mechanism.
Since last year, I've been forced out of my sacred comfort zone. I couldn't tell you with one word how afraid I was, so much so, I begun having panic attacks. But when you're being shoved in only one direction; you have no choice but to go with the drift of sink in.
We are so afraid of letting of everything that comfort us, mortally afraid that things will go wrong, and they might. But we can't allow ourselves to hold back from the great things that life has in store for us because we're hidden away in our fears. Changing who you are to become someone happier is a daunting task. To realize who you are, what's wrong and changing it are all different very difficult steps.
