I've started writing an expanded universe to Despair Infestation. Like what happened. I am shipping Mary Sues from a trollfic. I am making a complex, complicated backstory and trying to rewrite the story with said backstory. I got permission from sugoitacos to add to her story and expand upon the relationships. This is what my life has come to.

Would it be okay to have an oc interact with canon characters post-despair in the afterlife or something? I'm writing a fanfiction where all the dead kids read a badfic set in canon, and aside from the parody sue, there's only one oc. They all acknowledge the canon break, and it's pretty meta tbh. Is that okay?
I guess that'd be fine, though the idea is a liiiiiittle weird, and it's iffy as to whether or not most people would actually like it. It sounds funny to me, though.
