in my country we have english and tagalog as our major languages and we just kinda mixed them together i guess? also our country has like 80+ dialects as well and 8 of them, along with tagalog are majorly used. in my hometown we speak another dialect (bisaya) aside from tagalog. but we are usually accustomed to speak in bisaya (most of us sound really awkward when we speak in tagalog looool) so we tend to mix english and bisaya in our conversations
and lmaooo heres really the confusing part for you bc since i study at a different place that speaks ANOTHER dialect (hiligaynon) , i tend to mix tagalog and hiligaynon and sometimes english when talking to my classmates, and sometimes i even use some words in bisaya when talking to people that speaks the same dialect as i do. so, like 4 languages/dialects in a conversation omg
wtf justine this is so confusing :D i use english so much that most of the time i'm feeling more comfortable using english rather than my native language and that's okay when i'm with my friends but ahaha with my parents i have to wave my hands in the air like a madwoman until i can think of the correct words to use
