“gay men shouldn’t be over sexualized and be treated like sexual deviants” and “gay men are allowed to be in sexual relationships and talk about their sexuality in adult spaces” are two things that can exist at the same time. 

people who use the first to call out any instance of gay sexuality as “gross” and say gay men can’t show any signs of sexuality towards their partners are a problem. people who use gay men’s sexuality as a fetish are a problem. gay men are allowed to have sexual feelings and feel sexual attraction and they shouldn’t be demonized or fetishized for it.

tldr just treat gay men with respect and stop infantilizing us and/or fetishizing us.

here’s my hot take of the day: people’s transness shouldn’t be decided by cis people and cis bootlickers (transmeds) who believe that medical transition and dysphoria (a product of a transphobic and cis centric society) are the necessities of being trans. how people experience being trans will always be different from person to person, and there is no wrong way to be trans. if you’re cis or someone who constantly has to kiss the ass of cis people, i do not want your opinions on my posts.

transmeds be like “omg why dont you respect me???? why are you gatekeeping me from your posts???”

and then proceed to have miles of posts talking about how he/him lesbians and she/her gays aren’t real, dysphoria (something that exists because of our transphobic society at large MAKING us uncomfortable in our skin) is the only true indicator of transness, nonbinary people’s usage of neopronouns or it/its are stupid, and spend 90% of their time licking cis peoples boots because trans people are only trans if the cisgender doctors say so.

trans women who use he/him and trans men who use she/her are some of the strongest motherfuckers out there. y’all are doin’ great and i support you guys in expressing your gender how you feel comfortable doing so!

coming from a man who experiences major gender dysphoria: its not the only way to experience being trans. gender euphoria is good too!! being proud of being trans and feeling euphoria in being the gender you align with is a perfectly fine way of being trans!! i have moments like that too where i dont feel dysphoric!!
