Yesterday was super full of adventures. the one that tops the night off however is our heroic finish of Alphascape 4. It's an 8-person raid. current endgame stuff. not the savage version, mind you but it's not really a cake walk. i've been running it almost religiously weekly since it was released. So I've got the mechanics down.

Axel says to me last night. I'm about to do something stupid. I'm like alright i'm game. he says "i'm gonna queue for Alphascape 4 as a tank" I grin to myself but say, "we'll be fine, you just need to worry about which Omega to tank and mind mechanics, it's my job to worry about everything else." For a quick reminder, i main Astrologian. one of 3 healer classes, uses heals and tarot cards for party buffs. I gave him a quick run down of mechanics as a refresher cuz it's been so long.

The run starts, we have a few newbies, but it's not so bad. then the split happens, where there's both the Male & Female omega to fight. and people are just dropping. i rez as much as i can, but eventually have to use the healer lb3. for the record, the AST lb3 is just beautiful, stars and all, and everyone is revived and full health. I swift cast a protect and throw shields on tanks and place my dots, mind mechanics, all the while still calling mechanics for Axel as a refresher and of course griping in chat that i'm done saving people cuz at thist point now, i'm VERY low on mana. people are dying again and i just can't rez fast enough and also keep the other healer alive. female omega is dead, we've got male omega left, and 2 out of 4 dps, 2 tanks, barely 2 heals. aoes hit, other healer falls as do the 2 dps, one last effort to get the other healer back in the game, while weaving my mp cool downs and last aether pot to restore my mp. aoe happens. healer falls. by this point male omega is like at 30%? it's the 2 warrior tanks and me. THREE OF US! we weren't going down without a fight. i'm pulling cards as fast as i can. keep getting arrow - throw them alternately on tanks. room wide aoe - heal through barely, heal myself full, have just enough mp for small solo heals on tanks. throw my puddle aoe heal, drop it on me by accident - turns out to be a blessing it saved my ass. rinse and repeat. and you know what? WE FUCKING KILLED IT! the 3 of us! Axel, Myself, and the Pug Tank. I walked away from that run with 5 of possible 6 coms. (that’s commendations. you can't com the members of your team.)

During all this, before it went to shit and hero finish, Axel pipes up "Listen to you "calling" this. they grow up so fast *sniff* " I of course laughed and played it off. "Well i've been running it every week and farming it. of course i know it well enough. i had nothing better to do." lol.

And that is how my night finished off last night after a full day of clearing dungeons and leveling friends.

I still state that if my gear wasn't near complete endgame level which is like i400 - i'm at i393 i wouldn't have been able to do what i did, ALSO if the tanks weren't both warriors with massive HP pools i don't think we could have had that trio'd run from 30%

I'm never bored when Axel is around, that's for sure.
