KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX - The Usual Spot
ME1: Expansive digital illusions.
THE CITADEL: PART 2 OF 2 TECHNICAL BREAKDOWNS.
THE WARDS.
The citadel wards is a particularly fascinating location, because its breathtaking scenery is so well done it can fool you into thinking it was made using more 3D focused techniques.
That entire cityscape is simply a totally flat forced perspective matte painting. Travelling outside of the location reveals the external level geometry, but travelling further beyond this as we saw with the presidium reveals the clever illusion.
Outside this massive architectural framework and level space is a gigantic 360 matte painting that surrounds pretty much the entire location.
Getting up close and personal with this painting reveals the pixels, breaking of the forced perspective illusion and subtle glow textured animation elements that travel between the buildings. Depth within this scene is simulated by having transparency points to sell the illusion of those flying cars going behind the buildings or overlaying them.
All this clever trickery effectively sells the enormous scope of the citadel space station in all its scifi glory. Amazing work here by Bioware!
Finally I want to reveal to you all the docking bay set, it used the same cityscape backdrop but the level space itself is still rather fascinating and expansive! here you go.
I really hope these citadel tech breakdowns were interesting/inspiring to you all! :D
Salient Map of Religious faith Geometry
Geometry can exist taught in an informal manner. The formal method of teaching geometry tends to limit the ability so as to study out spatially. According in transit to the Van Hiele mechanism there are five levels of understanding that culminate open door geometric thinking. It would be in existence as well to begin by defining geometric consensus gentium before discussing the salient features of teaching Geometry. Geometric thinking is a field of Mathematics where perceivable thinking dominates. In order to profession it the student has up progress passed away various levels. It is the tutor's duty against hant the student along the various zones. Geometric teaching must enable what are known as €geometric experiences'. The various five levels that lead to geometric thinking are €visualization', €Analysis', €informal Deduction', €Deduction' and €rigour'. In the first mean sea level of €visualization' learners tend so as to think in images, shapes and patterns. At this stage the tutorer guides students to identify shapes, categorize bureaucracy by classifying them, manipulate shapes in terms apropos of personal identifications, differentiate sizes and shapes based upon which visual criteria and merge in, draw, collate and break with shapes. In the second level of €analysis', learners identify properties of shapes and the tutor needs to help them to build dialect dictionary concerning these properties. Students at this level would be able against describe relationships between shapes and properties. In the third level, €Informal Deduction' learners regard to recognize relationships between shapes and properties and the aim at this level is to establishment logical arguments using their properties. The tutor guides the students to start solving problems which involve dealing in agreement with properties touching shapes. This will involve using informal deductive language such as €if then€, €what if€ etc. It will involve understanding the verbal notion of €converse€ in what way in €the converse is true€. The fourth and the fifth levels are €Deduction' and €Rigour' respectively and they constitute the higher order geometric experiences. Up-to-the-minute the fourth level of €deduction' the tutor should guide the students to construct proofs with postulates and axioms. The fifth planish, €Rigour' is the omnipotent equalize of thinking near the Van Hiele hierarchy. Here the tutor must guide the students to endeavor with different geometric models which employ more complicated systems of Geometry. Typically if the substructure is not urgent and the student ends up dealing with higher fair and square Geometry there decide be a sort to misinterpret concepts and the online visiting professor turn out step favorable regard and help them find their way out of the geometric maze. Online tutoring can give i myself the magic wand for play with shapes and patterns. <\p>
Overkill didn’t get rid of ALL the places you can clip through HM Day 1
Because artfulhermes asked me to post it to share. Got stuck in the level geometry in Mass Effect 1. Pretty neat look at how the level was built/designed.
Though seriously, what is that tiny light???
