Treasure Tomes concerning the Demon Lord Kabriri, maps of Pelisthyxl’s hold.
In the Sphinx River delta in Osirian, the Rotted Flesh tribe of kobolds have long served as slaves and worshippers of the Black Ravener Pelisthyxl, king of the swamp. Only a select few kobolds could even enter the undead dragon’s lair. Unfortunately, for the Rotted Flesh, a group of legendarily powerful adventurers, led by the Sarenrite Paladin Tomaq ibn Horrith, defeated and destroyed Pelisthyxl more than 50 years ago, though no one has seen any of the adventurers since their climatic battle.
Since then, only the chieftain of the Rotted Flesh Tribe has learned the truth, that their great god is no more. Joresk is the latest tribal leader. Staked out in a heavily trapped network of tunnels on a cliff face a few miles from Pelisthyxl’s lair. Joresk’s people have finally noticed that its been too long since Pelisthyxl’s last rampage, and it has fallen on Joresk to convince them that their tribal patron still lives. His current story is that Pelisthyxl has returned to the Everglut, the home of Pelishthyxl’s favored deity, Kabriri. Perhaps suprisingly, Joresk has one of the most extensive libraries on Kabriri, at least on Golarion’s surface.
More than one Sarenrite crusade has been launched to retrieve Tomaq’s intelligent bastard sword, Rough Pyter. Joresk’s maps of Pelisthyxl’s hold could come in handy.
